If that. Make sure you take that into account. Maybe 10,000 levels are worth playing at best. Totally a YMMV situation on if you think it's worth it on a dollar/level standpoint.

sadly while my copy arrived it is defective
after doing the mandatory install a screen pops up saying not to turn off the system when I see the loading icon and sure enough the system freezes up during the loading process :mad:

That's not good. I emailed the promotion company to double check on my prize since there was a glitch and I was unable to enter my info at the 'fire frenzy' website, they said it would be here by the 17th. I'm hoping it shows up today, but my luck it will be Monday. Still it would be a day early I guess.

Just as a heads up, Slurpee Nation has some LBP2 stuff for rewards. There's a sticker pack, a dynamic theme, strategy guide, and more (+killzone 3 stuff.)

I can't find the dynamic theme or sticker pack on their website, only videos. Also I can't log into my account. They say they're sending me a new password, but it never arrives. Those idiots.

Hope you enjoy it. I had one preordered since July. In the end when Amazon gave a $20 GC (and the Ratchet & Clank costumes) with the regular and nothing with the CE, I had to bite the bullet and get the regular instead. I wanted the CE bad, but not $40 bad. I sorta hate them for putting me in that postition.

I cannot wait to get this tomorrow! I cancelled my Amazon pre-order and decided to just use my Reward Zone bucks at Best Buy. Hopefully they'll have the LE in stock.

Sorry, those are Slurpee Nation codes to redeem at slurpee.com for 2 points a piece (to go for LBP dynamic theme, LBP Slurpee Stickers + more) and not PSN codes.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure that I will.
I looked at Canadian retailers for the CE edition and they didn't carry it. Therefore, I decided to keep my pre-order with Amazon.com even though I'm getting killed by the shipping and import fees.
I wanted all of the pre-order bonuses especially Gonzo.

Oh. :doh: Wish I knew that before I entered them all on the PSN store! Thanks for the codes. If I can ever get into my Slurpee account, I'll try them, but as of now, I'm frozen out and while they have no problem resetting my password, they won't send me an email with the new one. I still have a fair number of points from last year. Super-frustrating!

And you do know that I'm maybe the biggest LBP fan in this forum, right? Of course I know what's in the CE (at least what was announced). But R&C were the big draws for me. So the question was not "Is the CE worth an extra $20 to you?" (it certainly was); it changed to "If the game and the R&C costumes are worth $40, are the plush sackboy (which sells for $10 at Game Stop, BTW), the bookends (which may or may not be made of laminate cardboard), the Gonzo, Tron, Jak & Daxter, and Toy Story Alien costumes and the extra 5 extra LBP avatars worth an additional $40 to you?". For me, that was an entirely different kettle of fish. As I said, I'm super-pissed that Amazon pulled that crap (and refused to give me $20 off the CE as some in the CAG forum were able to get apparently), but when push came to shove, it seemed like too much more for what I was getting.

Trying to decide if I want to buy it or just rent it right now. Going to pick it up today either way. I liked the first a lot, and want to review it, but feel somewhat cheap (like always.)

Decker: The bookmarks are wooden I think. They are covered with paper so I can't tell what's underneath. They have a decent weight to them. The Sackboy decorations on either side are cardboard with foam blocks behind them to give them a 3D effect. The Sackboy plushy is pretty nice as well. Only thing that could have made it better IMHO is if it had a real zipper. :-)
