any release date for the streaming ESPN on Live?
At E3 they announced that Espn would stream to Live, I haven't heard anything else about it since then. Any release date? It sure would come in handy since it is college football time.

I haven't seen an official launch date for it. College football kick-off was an obvious choice. There is a dashboard update that will officially launch with Kinect at the start of November, so one would hope it would be included then.

Yes, it should be part of the preview update for those who signed up for it. I'm really looking forward to checking that one out. I'd be even more excited if I rooted for a college football team that wasn't awful.

Anyway, I didn't mention the preview because not everyone got in on the preview and submissions are closed now.

Don't you need the correct cable company for this also? I know I have WOW! and I cannot access ESPN3.com. Just curious how this works? Although, I am switching to Comcast soon....but I figure it might impact someone.

I assume it will work the same way as espn3.com, since it is ESPN3 and not ESPN. So you will need an "approved" cable provider.

Are you excited for ESPN on your Xbox 360? Check your zipcode. I live in New York City, but Time Warner Cable in Brooklyn does not support ESPN3.com, so my Xbox 360 can't use the ballyhooed Xbox integration.
The video you can see here is captured from my Xbox 360, which is running the new ESPN app on the revised Xbox 360 dashboard. I'm in the beta program for the new Xbox 360 dashboard, which will go live for all Xbox 360 users in November. When it is live, Xbox Live Gold members will, depending on where they live,be able to watch live, streaming sports events, the same streamed on the ESPN3.com website. They will also be able to communicate with friends.
If you don't live in an ESPN3-compatible area (Neither Denver-based Kotaku chief Brian Crecente nor I do) you can at least use the ESPN app to watch ESPN.com clips. That's what you see above, running off my console

Shouldn't be news to anyone that knows anything about what ESPN360 is.

Besides, the NFL is REALLY stingy and mean when it comes to letting people broadcast their games. I remember a couple of years ago when the NFL Network was available on Sprint TV -- except the live NFL games they broadcasted on Thursdays (i.e. the only reason anyone would ever want the NFL Network); they were all blacked out.
