I agree, SOTC was a pretty weak experience overall -- terrible camera and poor controls aside, it often felt like a chore to play and simply wasn't very much fun.
ICO, though, is a favorite of mine.

Yup, it runs at a locked 30 frames per second, in HD with 3D.

Still haven't played Ico, but those that missed out on SOTC aren't missing out, unless Sony is dumping that game and putting another game called Shadow of the Colossus, in its place, in this collection.
It may have been good 5 years ago ("may" being the operative word here), but it's damn near unplayable in 2010.

I still can't believe that my friend told me about this game before the PS3 even launched and it's just now coming out 
He did tell me a month or two ago that SOTC was finished, but he had no idea if ICO was included or not. I'm extremely happy it is, since ICO is way better than SOTC.

I still have SOTC for PS2 sitting in my unplayed pile. Probably unopened too. No sense in playing it now. Should I deal now before resale value is in the crapper, or is it already too late for that?

I don’t think SOTC has much resale value. It ended up as a greatest hits title, and you can usually find those anywhere cheap. I picked up mine about 6 months ago for $5 used. Now Ico should still be worth some dough. I’m still trying to decide if I should keep mine or not. I never sold my GOW 1 or 2 copies for PS2 either after picking up the collection on PS3.

If it did get pushed to 12/31, that must mean The Last Guardian won't be out until then, or maybe even later.
