Re: What Retro Game would you like to see upgraded?

I've heard a rumor that the next Namco update ala Pac-Man: CE and Galaga Legion is for Metro Cross.

That's a strange one, given simpler, more popular classics they have in their pool.

That being said, if they did an update to Tower of Druaga in that style, I'd be in love.

I wish they'd bring back some of the old turn based D&D PC games by SSI. And Bubble Bobble.

I would love to see some of these Sega Saturn games come to XBLA or PSN.

Panzer Dragoon Saga - The best of the serial and very rare to find.
Dragon Force - Excellent strategy RPG.
Guardian Heroes - Great side scroller game.
Shining Force 3 -Should have all three Scenario. U.S. release only have just one.
Daytona USA -Good driving game.

Shadowrun - but none of that remake shit, have it done in the same style as the SNES/Genesis versions.

I would also love this.

Remakes I want:
Gabriel Knight series
Phantom Dust

I agree. Even just re-releasing it with no other changes would not only be beyond awesome but it would completely rule my life for a long time. I think when I stopped playing the original I had collected like 6 of the ultra-rare skill/spells (the ones that took 25 or something online wins to get each one).

Wow, I only got into it after I didn't have Arcade any more so I never played online. I loved it though.

I just wanted to add that the Mortal Kombat games are redone in HD and will be released same time as the new game.

I'd love to see Wing Commander and Road Rash updated too. I know Tecmo Bowl was technically just released again, but I read it was shitty. Back in the day that was my favorite game of all time.

The Wii game was pretty solid.

I haven't bothered with the new version but the original Tecmo Super Bowl game is still just as fun today as it was then, especially if you get a version with updated teams and rosters.

Oh hell, that's right. I never use my Wii... I was actually hoping for a remake on Live.

You were hoping that a game published by Nintendo would get an XBLA remake? Good luck with that.

Right on, brother. Add another EA title: Legacy of the Ancients!

I loved that game. That and the Bard's Tale series (the original ones from the 80s, not the one from 2004) were my favorite CRPGs.
