IIRC it was part of the contract Harmonix made with Paul and Yoko, not to allow Beatles exports into the main Rock Band game. That way it keeps a premium on that material.

It would be cool to have The Beatles songs, don't get me wrong. I just don't think we're going to get it anytime soon. Certainly not at the launch of RB3.

Just talked to my contact over at the PR firm....

Export will go live Day One. Also, she all but confirmed that some songs won't be available for export, no indication on which ones.

We don't know shit. Hell, I posted a tweet from HMXHenry this morning that said we'd know today. Today is 75% over (EDT) and nothing.

There's no guarantee the export will be live "Day One" no matter how many times it's been said before. Ask anyone with the stage kit.

It doesn't matter much because it'll happen eventually and I'm content with all the new songs and Doors stuff tomorrow. I would like to know, but whatever. At the very least it would be cool if someone in the awesome HMX PR staff would say on Twitter, Facebook, through RBA, or whatever would just say "Yeah, we know it sucks, but we're still trying to get this right for everyone."
