Looks like we'll be needing a dedicated Official Rock Band Thread of Battles and Challenges.

So, is there ANYTHING missing from this damn game? They can never do Rock Band 4, I swear every day I read about a new feature or something. I guess they could do a lame goth story with the main characters and their evil counterparts and some sort of rise to fame. Oh wait, Guitar Hero just did that

I can't remember where I read it right now and maybe I saw it mentioned in a video, but I have a vague recollection of hearing that a double-pedal setup would allow for that somehow. Hell, maybe that was a different game.
I think it was a video with Alex. I'm on the hunt now.

Or the pre-order credit. I may actually end up just sticking with Gamestop & tax for the free tracks.

Yeah, I'm thinking about cancelling my Amazon preorder and doing the same.

Thought it would be good to ask first.
I'm guessing that if they get it in stock with enough time, they'll update the shipping options. I guess I'll ride it out a little further. The game by itself doesn't have release date shipping either yet.
Hello from Amazon.com.
Thank you for asking if "Rock Band 3" is eligible for Release-Date Delivery. I've checked the product detail page on Amazon.com, and it appears the item is not currently eligible for this shipping option.
We only offer the Release-Date Delivery option when we know we can get the item from our suppliers in time to meet our delivery promise to you. It is possible that this item will become eligible as the release date gets closer and we've confirmed our inventory.
At this time, I can only suggest that you check back on Amazon.com at a later time.

Interestingly, I looked into just ordering it from Gamestop.com and selecting in-store pickup. In-store pickup isn't an option for the bundle.

It appears that it does not have a shipping date for the PS3 keyboard bundle. If you hover over the Xbox/Wii/PS3 boxes you will notice the change.

Via RockBandAide:
Here’s your perfect opportunity to get “caught up” on some DLC you’ve been meaning to purchase!
Xbox is running a promotion the entire month of October where if you purchase a total of 2,400 MSP of any Arcade titles or game add-on content, you will receive 800 MSP automatically credit to your account for FREE! While most of the Arcade titles won’t get me excited, ALL Rock Band DLC is classified as “game add-on content,” and as such, is eligible for this promotion! And just to make sure, I reached out to @XboxSupport on Twitter, who confirmed for me that “ALL game add ons are eligible.”
Time to purchase some Xbox Live points!
Note: Offer available Worldwide in all Xbox LIVE countries, excluding Japan, Italy, and France.

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
Nice. I'm slowly getting sucked back in with DLC like this.
I still have to unlock all the songs in Lego: RB, or at least export them.

So where did the PS3 keyboard bundle go? Should I dig out my iron codpiece just in case?

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
I'm very pleased with the R.E.M. songs. And "End of the World" will be a glorious disaster as the finale to any drunken RB party. Can't wait.
