I always think of "Get a Life" when I hear "Obsession":

Man, that show is long overdue for a DVD release.

That episode actually is on DVD. Rhino put out two volumes, and that's on the first one. And yeah, even though I grew up loving "Obsession", rediscovering that episode on DVD a decade back definitely amped that up.
I've never heard it either.

Well, it's not Paramore but Airplanes is close enough for now
Actually, first 4 songs are great....last 3 are garbage but whatever. Some nice cheesey 80's music will be fun!

I remember years ago reading an interview with Chris Elliot where he said that he already recorded some commentaries. Last I heard it was producer David Mirkin holding things up for some reason.
And "Eagleheart" is pretty funny, at least based on the first episode. It's so nice to have Elliott in a lead role again. Hopefully that'll get the "Get a Life" DVD wheels rolling again.
Oh, yeah. He also needs to write another book.

Oh, I jumped on those DVDs when they first came out, but I want the whole shebang. I acquired every episode from other means, but quality is really substandard.

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
Count me in amongst the folk who've never heard "Airplanes". I'm 32 and get most of my new music from Rock Band and Pandora.
After the Valentine's Day pack, HMX should release a Stalker Pack with these songs:
The Police - Every Breath You Take
Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up
Cheap Trick - I Want You To Want Me
Divinyls - I Touch Myself
Halestorm - I Get Off

Definitely in for B.O.B., Human League and Lady Antebellum if these are released as singles - if there is a discounted pack, I'd probably grab it since I'm waffling on the other songs at the moment but do like them well enough.

Of course the songs will be available at $2 each, as usual. I can't remember what a 7-pack costs, but a 6-pack is $10 and 8-pack is $13.50. So a 7-pack is probably $12.

A 7-pack goes for $11 (880 pts). They always give larger discounts on larger packs, so a 6-song pack that goes for $10 gets you 1 "free" song. A 7-pack is going to get you 1.5 "free" songs.

Good to know. Since I was sold on 6 of them anyway, I'll take the bundle.

Well, now I'll have to listen to "Airplanes" to see if I like it and the discounted pack's worth it for me. I'm on the fence about Meat Loaf, in for the rest, and despise Stevie Nicks (yet like Tom Petty).

I still have yet to pick up the Billy Joel and Johnny Cash packs (both of which I *really* want) and I could use that $2 towards one of those.

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
After listening to Airplanes and Need You Now, I want all of the songs except for Need You Now. Still, it's cheaper to get the whole pack than just the six songs I want, so...guess I'm gettin' the whole shebang.
