Why the surprise on Alan Wake? There seemed to be a decent amount of attention around the game to me.

I read on IGN that Split / Second , Blur and Mod Nation Racers tanked really badly.

Well it just seemed like it was overshadowed completely by RDR. I know my friends list is not scientific, but for two weeks after release EVERYONE was playing RDR and only one person here and there was playing Alan Wake. I guess people bought both, just didn't get around to playing Alan Wake yet.

I regret buying Red Dead. I dislike it a great deal.

Well there are no numbers but it looks like it would still have to be a 9-1 difference. That's still pretty drastic. With all the promo they put into Alan Wake I can't think that's still a good performance in their eyes. Which really is just because of the horrible release timing IMO.

It'll be interesting to see the June numbers with those deals out there for Blur this month. I think it's going to get quite a boost. Unfortunately Activision will only be seeing like $10 for each copy.

Would love to read details on this (posted in the RDR thread). I think the game is superb.

Why were the numbers delayed?

They updated their algorithms or something. Now results will be even more accurate and shiny.

So, that's why they are showing numbers for just the first five games?

I think I was more forgiving of it because of the new scenery, but there is no reason for supposed AAA title to still have the shittiest controls I have ever seen. The aiming is only tolerable due to the auto-aim, the guy still controls like a fucking tank, and we accept this why? Because of some MEDIOCRE voice acting? Yes people, it's fucking mediocre voice acting. I'm sorry that videogames have had such shitty voice acting that this is considered superb, but it isn't.

The "travel" portion of every mission is unbearable, and they should have done away with it.

Yes the world is beautiful, but I will NOT make the mistake of paying full price for a Rockstar game again. I bought it at release due to multiplayer, and they do not know how to implement multiplayer properly.

Probably should put this in the other thread.

I don't agree with his comment about the voice acting but I agree with the comment about the controls for the game. Not only that but for a high profile game, the glitches on this game were annoying and I'm not even done half of the game yet.

I thought about putting a poll about what game play next, RDR or Just Cause 2, but thought that everyone would vote for RDR, but after the previous posts...

I'd vote for RDR over Just Cause 2.

I would not vote for RDR over Alan Wake.

I was thinking the same thing. I bet Racers outnumbers FPS games 2 to 1.
