Once you and Steve explained how to hit the tricks it was easy - especially since the controls are easy to figure out.

Chess won't be here Wed/Fri next week, so maybe another Burnout night, or Blur. He didn't say it, but I think he wants us to wait for him before we hop into Resistance 2.

Alright, who knows the Burnout multiplayer hosting well enough to volunteer?

I'd volunteer for Wednesday but I'm not on early enough to host since I am not usually on until 9pm EDT though I am usually online until late. Chess was talking about slipping BLUR in and I thought we could start in one game (Burnout?) and transition over to BLUR at a set time. I don't really know what everyone's availability was though.

Yeah...it would be cool if I could get in on the first night of Resistance 2...and I'm not convinced that enough people have it yet anyway. But if you can't come up with anything else, I'm cool...just didn't want to get behind the curve on it.

Are you guys completely over RDR? That might be an option as well...and it will have been two weeks since you last played it. How many traded it in/sold it?

Burnout Paradise was really fun in hindsight. I especially liked the Marked Man inside the airfield. That was nuts! And I liked taking turns trying to pull off tough tricks...like skateboarders or something.

Right now, I'm thinking about going home and playing Modnation Racers. Loving that game more and more. Last night, I was Roy Fokker's veritech driving old school Optimus Prime. You cocksniffers need to get that game!!!!

You may have enough to rock R2 next Wednesday after all. Might want to do a strength check for people who can commit.

When I jump in, it will likely be me +1 (Shao).

I am out of town next week and can't play wednesday, so I would vote for pushing R2 back another week. Of course, just my opinion, man

I'll be down for some RDR if you guys put it in the rotation.

Re: Weekly Wed/Fri Rotating Game Nights (PS3)

I'd say that with a few people out, RDR looks like a pretty good option. A smaller posse can still be a good time, and you can always break up into 3s and do coop missions.

Lee will be in Denver with me, and I doubt any of the guys from work will come out...unless I know what the game is and can tell them today.

Sean, Marcus and Don all got Burnout Paradise FWIW...and Sean got RDR.

As for tonight...Red Faction: Guerrizzy in the hizzy!!!

I got home for my appointment with the cable company and the internet was working. I can only guess that somebody came out in the morning while I wasn't home, despite having an appointment.

Which means, I'll be on tonight.

LorenzoL: if you volunteer to host, we'll do RDR.

Re: Weekly Wed/Fri Rotating Game Nights (PS3)

So as far as games that are in the rotation, would this list be correct?
Red Dead Redemption
Burnout Paradise
Uncharted 2
Red Faction Guerilla
Resistance 2
Bioshock 2

Are we eventually going to try to setup the BLUR demo?
And throw in the 3/4 player co-op Wildcard with Little Big Planet and Borderlands ?

Grand Theft Auto IV might get thrown in from time to time as well, and I believe Modnation Racers also.

I'll be picking it up this weekend. But would like to hold off a week to let others pick it up.

I ended up keeping RDR since I wanted to complete the single player, get the platinum trophy and be a general pain in the ass to multi-player douches.
Burnout Paradise was really fun in hindsight. I especially liked the Marked Man inside the airfield. That was nuts! And I liked taking turns trying to pull off tough tricks...like skateboarders or something.
I really like the multi-player on Burnout plus the custom soundtrack option really rocks. More games need to have this option.
Right now, I'm thinking about going home and playing Modnation Racers. Loving that game more and more. Last night, I was Roy Fokker's veritech driving old school Optimus Prime. You cocksniffers need to get that game!!!!
I liked Modnation and i had it as a rental but I turned it back in since I wanted to hold onto Uncharted 2 and NCAA11. It is a bit out of my price range but I may pick it up later on. I think when we did the poll it was the latest flavor of the month.

I would like to revisit Uncharted 2 again, get the BLUR demo going, and find out how many have picked up Resistance 2 and Bioshock 2 so that we could get a solid group going for those games.

And how much longer will it be before Steve abandons us for the land down under?

I picked up Resistance 2 during the sale at GS this week. I will be picking up Bioshock 2 by the end of the month, as I have the $20 coupon from @Gamer, but I also have a $10 RZ Cert that is pending, so I'm hoping that will clear before the end of the month as well, and I'll be able to pick it up for 10 bucks.

I also cashed in some Sony Rewards points for a free copy of Uncharted 2. Normally I use all of my Sony Rewards points for PSN cards, but those appear to be gone from the Sony Rewards site for several months, and I dunno if they're coming back. I had over 8,000 points banked, so I figure I may as well use them for something.

So this would be correct along with the co-op Wildcards?

Who still has Modnation? and GTAIV?

Doubt it. I had fun messing around, but it's pretty janky compared to RDR.

I now have pretty much every super hero and a good rouges gallery.

I love this game!

The 4 I have are,

Burnout
Uncharted
RF:G
R2

maybe we need to make a list in the OP, so we know who has what for future reference.

More or less. I'm pretty skeptical about GTA though.

I have both. Edit...I have the whole list.

You people need to get on that game...other than laughably bad load times, Modnation Racers is THE SHIT.

I will get Twisted Metal when it comes out, but Modnation does nothing for me.

Burnout Paradise Review: (note that restarts have been added...amongst other things)

<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/PSBmFW_zqjY&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/PSBmFW_zqjY&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

So WHO'S PLAYING RED FACTION TONIGHT??? I'm bringing at least two, assuming Shao can get in...maybe Lee as well...would like to see at least 4 or 5 more.
