Puzzle Quest 2 is due out in about a month and I was curious to what platform folks plan to get it on. The first time around I had it on both the DS and XBLA. This time, I'm thinking about getting on platform.

DS Advantages - Play from anywhere, good for travel, PAX
XBLA - Online play with friends, better graphics, full size screen

I'm still undecided, so I made this poll to test the popular opinion. Hopefully this will help sway me one way or another.

Well, I voted for XBLA but maybe I'm biased since I almost never even touch the DS. I will say after I got the XBLA version, I've never played my PSP version since.
BTW : What's "PAX" as an advantage for the DS version?

PAX = Penny Arcade Expo, which I go to. Everyone has a DS (just about) its always fun to play multiplayer games face-to-face with strangers. It was nice to take my character out and play with people in room.

I don't have a DS, so XBLA.

It was announced today that it would be coming to the PC, iPhone, and iPad. Can't imagine there won't be a Mac version as well.

I also had the first on the DS then rebought it on XBLA. I'll probably only get it on XBLA because a) I don't portable game much and 2) I likey them achievements.

iPod Touch. It will almost certainly be cheaper than the DS and will probably play better if Puzzle Quest 1 is anything to go by.

I beat the first one on both and that will happen again. I will get it first on DS and later on XBLA.

Got the first on PC and probably will for this one too. Otherwise I would chose DS (which I don't have).

If I had to choose between those two, I would go w/ the DS. However, I will be getting the ipod version (though I am disapointed they never released chapter 3 of the first one).

XBLA for me.

I played the first on XBLA, but I think I would rather have it portable. It just seems better suited for a portable game, something that I can pick up and play for short rounds at a time (although I would often play the first for hours at a time).
