I have played the demo quite a few times, and I think this is going to be a fun game.
Honestly, I am okay with it being a 6 hour game or whatever, because I rarely have the patience to continue on a 15 hour quest of some sort. My only complaint is that I wish when you beat the game, you could play with all of your weapons powered up, but that isn't too bad.
I usually enjoy horde mode, so that should be fun. I wish there was multiplayer, but for $40, I think it is a pretty good deal.

The ONLY reason I'm getting this game is because I got it for a $30 pre-order price direct from EA a while back. I was SO pissed when I saw it on my "to be delivered" receipt yesterday... but at $30 I think I can immediately put it on Ebay for $40-$45 sealed. I have less than zero interest in playing this game after the demo.

Not necessarily a bad sign. Some studios (like Activision, for example) have a strict no-early-review policy. There were no early reviews of CoD Black Ops or Starcraft II and yet both went on to do pretty well, as I recall. However since EA has no such policy and this is a new IP with a heavily-hyped demo out, it's at least a little curious as to why they haven't allowed early reviews.

Correction or at least on my TV Guide (AT&T Uverse) is showing X-play at 1:00am Central Time. It's 30 minutes all Bulletstorm. Recorder is on so I'll see.

I think I'm just going to rent it. It was one of my most anticipated games, but that's sort of worn off. I'll save the money for Killzone 3.
Should be able to beat it within a rental anyways, and get a review up before the week is over. Hopefully.
I'm not a huge Epic fan anyways (not that they developed it in house.)

For anyone else who can't see the second page, the reviewer does mention that they finished the game in less than six hours if that makes a difference to anybody between a buy and a rent.

Bulletstorm demonstrates the value of "why" for action games. Taken out of the context of its fiction, People Can Fly would have something fun but forgettable on their hands, but the way Bulletstorm fits together results in something cool and memorable. Multiplayer failings notwithstanding, Bulletstorm shines as a single-player shooter. Despite its crass humor and wang-flinging bravado, it's got some real character and heart to it. I'm not happy about the story's sequel-bait belly flop of an ending, but I'm excited to see where Grayson and Bulletstorm go next.

For anyone who's interested in this, check out Vanquish instead - it's a 3rd person cover-based shooter, but it's got way more depth in it's little pinky than Bulletstrom does in it's whole package.

Joystiq gives it a 4.5/5 in their review and claim it's a 12 hour game, which is a HUGE discrepancy from the 5 1/2 hour play time that IGN reported. Not sure what to make of that...

Probably player dependent. If there's a lot of room to run around and rack up points then feasibly someone could do that for a few hours. Where running through the game linearly would be the shorter duration.
