The only reason I can think of for connecting your PS3 to your computer is if you were transferring files (like music or videos) with FTP. I am looking for the best way to get MLB.TV from my computer to my HDTV, Drexl. My TV does not have an internet connection. |

So, I guess you need a router then. Your internet connection goes to the router, then you have ethernet cables going from that to both the PS3 and computer.

So its going to cost me like $300 just to get to the point of getting MLB.TV to my HDTV. Thats before the subscription fee. $250 for the PS3 and another $50 or so for the router. |

Yes that is an option. MLB.TV is not available on Canadian Roku until April. |

Roku is not available in Canada until April. I'm sure there will be some bugs to iron out when it does. Grapefruit league starts next week. |

Would an HDMI cable from your computer to your TV be an option? If your video card has HDMI out, it may be worth considering if they're situated in a way that allows it.

No HDMI port on my computer. Will be trying a VGA-HDMI converter box and run that to the HDTV. VGA connects my monitor to the computer. |

Just remember it will only carry the video signal to your TV so you'll have to figure out something for the audio.

The more I think about this the more I am leaning to get a PS3 and a router. Less hassle and the unknown factor is reduced. So can someone recommend a router?
