No. I have actually never even played WoW. I don't like MMOs or multiplayer in general. I am a single-player only gamer.

I am addicted to Civ 4 though. I have spent thousands upon thousands of hours playing that game.

Unlike most gamers who play through a game once or twice and then they are done with it, I will replay games many many times. I never get bored even after a dozen or more playthroughs. So even when I have nothing new to play, I just fall back and replay some old games.

Maybe 2 hours, almost all of it on my iPhone.

My amazement did not come from awe, believe me.

what is the name of this documentary? I am interested in seeing it.

I'm in the same boat as most people 5-10 hours a week, but I think its a little higher during the winter.

I haven't played a game in over a month. I'm in a rut. But, when I am playing, it's usually only around 10 hours a week. I'm a very casual gamer now in my old age.

I can't remember what it's called. The one I saw (there may be more than one) was actually on hulu, but it doesn't appear to be up anymore.

And I think DVDTalk did a review of it when it was released on DVD, but I'm still totally blanking on the name.

WoW Documentary

Seems you can stream it thru Netflix. It's called Second Skin. Now was that so hard to type Pinata? You probably spent more time setting up you link that just typing the name. Gotta love the happy people on the internets.

Second Skin is all of those things. It's cool that it's on Netflix. The DVD has a lot of bonus content, but the main movie really is enough. You probably won't want more.

I watched Second Skin last night and I thought it was a pretty good documentary. It definitely was disturbing to see how addicted and warped these people's minds are from playing WoW, Everquest 2, etc...

Watched it last night as well. I thought it was a passable documentary but it was missing something. I guess the fact of non-likable people really keep me unemotionally involved. But it was definitely interesting, humorous and depressing.

I like the fact that the guy who states he has a bad back can sit for hours on end in a desk chair playing this game and can kick the ball like a champ to his dog. Funny how the back complaints go away after he loses weight, gets off his ass and changes his attitude.

I have never played Everquest or World of Warcraft so I was curious if the graphics they were showing were the real games or just ones they made up to look like the games?

I wondered the same thing myself. Part of my thinks they were made specifically for the documentary, but then would they really have a budget for that?

If I'm really hooked on something (which isn't very often), probably 20 hours a week. Otherwise maybe 5-10. Some weeks it's 0. if some good RB DLC comes out, that'll add a few. When MLB 10 hits, it'll be 40.

I'm lucky if I can get 5-10.
