It does, but "(Drummer Too!)" didn't fit in the picture.

Depending on the quality of the tracks, I'll seriously consider Breaking the Law and Living After Midnight.

I'm sure we can find this album streaming somewhere to embed here...

And that didn't take long.

Ditto, although what you embedded sure sounds like the tracks I'm used to. If it's live, I really can't tell the difference.

I know, but I just go by how they're tagged in Grooveshark. All the different entries sounded the same to me.

Not so much to see here, but if you care to take a gander at the official Rock Band 3 logo, take a look directly above. GameInformer apparently received this logo when they also received an invite to a special May 20 early unveiling… apparently mine got lost in the mail! Oh well, I’ll be taking a look at it during E3, and I’ll report back all the goodies that I can to you guys with an up front (and hopefully hands on) viewing!

According to GameInformer, the invite to the special event promises that RB 3 is “a game that will once again change the way people look at music video games.” Innovation, you say? Yes, please!

GameInformer also comments that “word on the street is that Harmonix is moving in a more realistic direction, which could add a new layer of challenge, fun, and education or it could turn into a boring, overcomplicated music lesson that you see in plenty of PC software.”

As long as my existing catalog/instruments work in RB3, I'm up for anything.

I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Is it a safe assumption that they've been programming harmonies into DLC from some point in the past?

Re: Rock Band Thread - This thread was made for Rockin, and that's just what it'll do

I would hope so. It's an easy addition to the current files that wouldn't impact the sizes at all and could be easily ignored by the current engines.

BRITISH STEEL?!?!!?

All of my bitching about the LOUSY DLC since Hendrix has been obliterated. AWESOME NEWS!

Yes. People have looked into some of the DLC files and there are harmonies already in recent DLC that would make use of them.

Very nice. Is there a list out there of what titles include them? Are the RBN authoring tools capable of adding them or will there be an update later for the 3rd parties?

I haven't seen a list. I know the Green Day stuff already has it, and I believe the Queen pack does as well and of course, some other stuff. RBN authors do not have the ability to support harmonies yet, but will with the release of RBN 2.0.

I know I've mentioned it before, but with harmonies, I'd love to see some Meat Loaf and Beach Boys.

I'm excited about another Judas Priest album hitting Rock Band but they really seem to be losing their steam in terms of variety of what comes out for DLC.

British Steel FTW! Although United is actually a lame song, but the rest is top of the line metal.

I was pretty hyped for British Steel until I saw the words "Live". Recent Judas Priest live stuff just sounds pretty awful, Halford really doesn't have it anymore unfortunately. I'll still check out the DLC, but my definite buy went to a possible buy.

Please explain how British Steel coming out negates several weeks of subpar and boring DLC?

Allow me to go ahead and make my bold prediction: That code on the Beatles Rock Band manual will allow us to download Beatles Rock Band tracks into Rock Band 3.

I've got a $10 bet on another forum that this is the case as well.

Makes sense. RB:Beatles will be gone from shelves by that point and this is an easy way to bring in some extra revenue off that title with zero effort.

Re: Rock Band Thread - This thread was made for Rockin, and that's just what it'll do

That would be cool, but I don't think I'd get rid of the Beatles disc even if they offered an export. They did such a great job with the presentation in that game that I would feel like I'm missing something if I play the songs without the Beatles visuals.
