Oh and good choice Corvin, that would definitely be an awesome set of songs.

Yup. Forest Gump, Dazed & Confused, and The Crow. I think that exhausts my other selections before I asked.

Sad that this hypothetical caused the most, quick activity this thread has seen lately

I've tried to get stuff started about RBN, but no one seems to give a shit here.

Re: Rock Band Thread - This thread was made for Rockin, and that's just what it'll do

I care, but there's just not much to talk about yet. Most of the songs you post are not something I'm interested in.

I like Flogging Molly being on there. I like some of the other Top 40 type singles that have shown up.

But until there's a date, there's not much to really discuss other than a listing of bands and songs out there.

Re: Rock Band Thread - This thread was made for Rockin, and that's just what it'll do

Even though the Pearl Jan and Alice In Chains stuff is already available in Rock Band, I'd like the whole set.

1. Would? - Alice in Chains
2. Breath - Pearl Jam
3. Seasons - Chris Cornell
4. Dyslexic Heart - Paul Westerberg
5. Battle of Evermore - Lovemongers
6. Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns - Mother Love Bone
7. Birth Ritual - Soundgarden
8. State of Love and Trust - Pearl Jam
9. Overblown - Mudhoney
10. Waiting for Somebody - Paul Westerberg
11. May This Be Love - Jimi Hendrix
12. Nearly Lost You - Screaming Trees
13. Drown - The Smashing Pumpkins

edit : Son of a bitch, superfro beat me to it while I was getting this right. Oh, well, I agree.

Curtis Mayfield's Super Fly soundtrack would be awesome (and RB could use more funk, imo). I'll second Dazed & Confused too, and I think Team America would be a real crowd-pleaser.

Re: Rock Band Thread - This thread was made for Rockin, and that's just what it'll do

Team America is good, but half of it is score. There's really only a handful of songs on there. South Park BLU would be pretty good too, especially with multiple vocal parts on La Resistance Medley.

You also didn't mention that the Screaming Trees track is also available. For shame.

Would like to point out that Belly's Feed the Tree is also available. Not from the Singles soundtrack, but it's definitely from that same era.

Really I just want everything from 120 Minutes/Alternative Nation circa 1992-1997 released at some point.

Man, it would have been so awesome if that cover art listed Alice in Chains twice.

I would also love to have most of the stuff off of The Crow: City of Angles soundtrack too.

And completely unrelated to soundtracks, but seriously..I'd probably blow somebody to get this....

Yeah, good point. I was really just thinking of "America (Fuck Yeah)" and "Freedom Isn't Free" I guess.
