I knew when I read about it that a lot of people would be disappointed with the way sniping works now. It's no longer about being the fastest, you actually have to take a second and get a good lock on your opponent.
I am fine with the new sniping system - I had six kills in the sniper match I jumped in on last week - you have to be more defensive now

I have a really hard time with the revolver it seems I die a bunch with it before I unlock the next gun. After that its smooth sailing until I get to the FAL and forget that it is a single shot rifle

No, I still like going back and forth between the 2. plus I think the maps in MW2 are better for some of out custom games - knives only, Hanguns headshots only, riot shields and rcket launchers, etc...

We couldn't help ourselves - Black Ops is like the new hot chick at work who all the guys want a piece of. MW2 is the chick who you get drunk with on Friday nights and have hit it raw dog a few times.

Nic may have been the terminator in that match, but I was definitely the humiliator. HUMILIATION
I got knifed alot and I think that was one of the matches where I had the lead and lost at the very end.

I think we should have one final night of MW2 then move on. The new game is out' it's what everybody wants to play. Next year we will have another new game that we will switch over to. Welcome to the gaming cycle.

I've only had the ps3 for a few month, so I never got around to picking up MW2, because BO was coming and I've got limited cash these days. So, I'll only be participating on night where we're playing BO.

(That said, decisions certainly shouldn't be made around me, as I'm currently an infrequent participant at best.)

So as long as Black Ops doesnt find out about MW2, we're good...MW2 is cool with us fucking around, it actually probably turns MW2 on a little bit...

Cruz, could you set up different victims classes for Mike Myers? I would like one with decoy canisters, a sniper rifle with the variable zoom scope, and the camera equipment.

Maybe we need a Mike Myers 2 match, one where the victims have more technology i like the original mike myers where you are a stupid victim with almost nothing.

Well, Thursday is Thanksgiving. I'll be free for throwing down, but I'm guessing most of you actually enjoy spending time with your families and will be taking the night off. Am I right? Anybody interested in hopping on Friday for some public or private games if we have the numbers?

re: Weekly Thursday Call of Duty Night (PS3)

Most of my family is skipping out on traveling this year since apparently airfare is really high. ( We are really spread out across the country) I might be on Thursday afternoonish around noon while we are warming up food ( We are getting a prepared dinner from Publix - I'm only making homemade mac'n cheese )I'll definitely be on Thursday night. I am still working on Friday but I'll be on Friday night.

Don't think the wife will allow Thursday night for Origami or I, but, Friday is a possibility.

Thanksgiving is almost certainly out for me, but I'd probably be around Friday night for some Black Ops.
