I'm off for Veterans Day and figured I'd make it a 4 day weekend and took Friday off too. I plan on really checking the game out over the next few days.

It's a lot of fun. I got raped my first few matches. My fourth or fifth match I dominated, 14 kills and 1 death, but then I was back to getting my ass kicked for the next few. I then, stupidly, gambled 90% of my earnings away in a couple One in the Chamber wager matches. It really is a blast.

I also ran into an old work buddy last night while in line at TRU. He is interested in the Thursday night matches. He has MW2 on both PS3 and 360 but only picked up BO on 360 last night. He figured he would probably end up with it on PS3 sooner or later too. Anyone think it's worth trying to sell the Avatar junk from the Hardened edition on ebay or the like?

A really nice tin case, 4 Zombie mode maps from CoD:WaW (I'm sure you can buy it as DLC eventually), A Black Ops medal and case (meh), Soldier skin for Home/360 avatar(lame) and from a preorder from Gamesstop a flight suit for Home/360 avatar (lame)

Only reason I got the hardened was for the 4 maps. Form what i have heard you have to beat the single player campaign to unlock zombie mode and There are only 2 Zombie maps to start with. The Hardened edition gives you a total of six maps in zombie mode.

yeah, i guess we will download the zombie maps if they become available, and people are playing coop enough, because we just bought the standard edition...

R2, if you and Nic figured out game sharing then one of you could pick up hardened and you could both dl the maps.

We all know 360ers outnumber us. At least the 360 bunch here are not nearly as fanboyish as other message boards. What's funny is I've trolled the bluray.com video game boards and I like our small group in comparison to the PS3 group over there. They take things waaaaayyy too seriously.

One of my favorite moments on the public servers with you guys last night was throwing a random semtex out of sight and killing Slider. Also, I remembered at the very end that origami could play with me, just not with his profile or stats. The weird thing was that the audio is doubled then. Everyone talking was in echo including stuttering Jeremy. I am hoping there is a way for me to disable the audio for one but not both of us.

Once I got that tomahawk unlocked I could not stop using it. I love the sound it makes. Also, setting up a claymore and throwing two of those decoy canisters works 8 out of 10 times. I got a ton of kills using those two things. The flamethrower is also fun. The only problem I have with this game is the absence of riot shields. I really wish they didn't take those away.

i got it! played a little at 3am after waking up in a sneezing fit. didn't want to wake the baby, afterall... hehe. really wanted the remote control car what do you have to do to unlock it in the game? it was so weird walking around and having them buzz by me. hoping to play for a min or two here before work if i can get the hubby off
