Ahh yes, it appears I misunderstood.. Yeah 360 exclusive FOR NOW.. there are rumors that it is coming to ps3. People have found code in the pc version that refers to the ps3 version so either it was scrapped, or they are planning on making one.

I played the demo tonight and I liked it and will be keeping my preorder. I agree that the voice acting is not very good in some parts, as has been said it's especially notable after just finishing the superior work from ME2, and the parts where you have to shake the controller up and down were frustrating at first but I was already getting sucked into the story.

I also played the demo tonight, and while it looks good I had trouble controlling the direction I wanted to walk, which pulled me out of the story. I cancelled my preorder as I don't see this game having too much replayability. I will rent it as it is meant to be around 8 hours long.

8-10 hours long with over 20 endings. But that's probably if you rush it.

How different are those endings aside from certain characters living or dying (and maybe going to jail)? I doubt the Origami Killer is a different character each time.

Don't know. Don't want to know. And sure as hell shouldn't be discussed here without spoilerizations.

Not meant as a spoiler. It was just speculation.

Oh, I know. It was a pre-emptive strike. And a lot of people here won't want to even read idle speculation (myself included).

You can go to the bathroom and take a shower 20 different ways. The expression on each characters face changes at the end of the game based on how many times you squatted.

Nope. I don't. I already had cartman drop a couple spoilers in the Bioshock 2 thread.

Re: Heavy Rain -The Official Thread (Launches 2/23/10)

Just finished the demo and wasn't that impressed.

More frustrating than anything else.

I like the atmosphere, but the part with the FBI agent and you have to follow the cop, I couldn't see where he was because the scene is so friggin' dark. He kept asking are you coming and I said Yes, but I couldn't see where the hell he was or going. I even tried adjusting the gamma settings and still way to dark.

I'll give it another go.

I never had a problem seeing him. Maybe your settings are too dark. Besides you can put on your Batman AA-like spy glasses and that should help. I can totally see myself playing all his levels wearing those magic sunglasses so I don't miss anything.

No problems here. TV setting? SD tv? I could see it maybe being a problem there. Or put the super-awesome spy goggles on.

Played the Demo last night. Will likely pick this up, as even that short snippet of the game got me interested in the story.

I wonder if this is what Sadness (the vaporware game for the Wii) was going to be like.
