I got The Show '09 in a BOGO at Blockbuster and I don't have a PS3 yet. That is what the income tax refund check it for! I haven't played a baseball game since Ken Griffey Jr. on the N64.

I was under the impression those parks would be included regardless. Not that it matters since I'll most likely be pre-ordering from Amazon anyway.

It is. When you pre-order the game from Amazon or Gamestop, you get a DLC code that will unlock 6 stadiums:

Crosley Field
Forbes Field
Griffith Stadium
Polo Grounds
Shibe Park
Sportsman's Park

Thanks...I wonder if the stadiums will be available for download also. I may pre-order...not sure yet. I generally don't start my season until someone releases an updated roster with all the minor league players named.

They can be unlocked on the game by achieving very difficult to near impossible goals. If you want the stadiums, I'd make sure to pre-order it.

Let's do this online league. If we can get at least 10 of us involved it would be great fun. I'm down to help organize this if you guys want to do it. I think we should play a shortened season rather than a full length one but we could do another one after that if the interest is still there.

I wouldn't mind joining the league - Cincinnati Reds.

Last year was my first experience with The Show, so I will probably be an easy mark for the rest of you! :)
