Recommend me some Wii games for last minute gifts
My father in law (63) is getting a Wii. he is not very active. more of a puzzle type guy. some activity is fine but he won't be playing tennis. Ideas?
My Aunt and Uncle and youngish (late 40s). They have a 15 and 10 year old and want a game they can play as a family. Karaoke American Idol would have been perfect but is unavailable everywhere. They don't want to invest in Rock Band as they have it for PS2. Ideas?
I don't really keep up with Wii games. Seems like a lot of stuff is thrown out there with very mixed reviews.

Oh, and I assume you mean Bash Party...the latest version? The original is available for in store pick-up from Best Buy but not available from Amazon. Would you get v1 or v2?

I don't think you can go wrong with either one. There is more variety in the second though, at least in regards to multiplayer modes. I'd say just go cheap and get the first, it's plenty of fun.

I've had a fun time with my family playing Excite Bots Trick Racing. Got it for $15 on Black Friday and have loved it ever since. Something about playing a game that does not take itself seriously makes for a enjoyable experience.
