I'm more of a sports gamer and admittedly haven't played most of the big 4th quarter titles, but my GOTY is either UFC Undisputed or Batman: AA. If I have to pick it would be UFC only because of the insane amount of hours I've poured into that title.

My two favorites this year are Borderlands and Splosion Man.

My favorite is easily COD:MW2. No other game has had me addicted like this one.

Hmmmm...this is tough. I think I had the most fun with Batman:AA because of how completely awesome the story was and how immersed you felt in that universe. Overall, I'd say COD:MW2 is the most fun just b/c of the replay value. If I had a gun to my head and I had to pick one, I'd probably say Batman:AA. Honorable mention to Borderlands, though.

The correct answer, of course, is Beatles Rock Band.

But barring that, I'd go with Batman: Arkham Asylum, both for the incredible immersive experience, but also for the way it really tapped into the Batman mythos and gave us a story worth telling.

My runner-up would be Assassin's Creed 2, which was addicting as hell.

Easily the best game of 2009.

A close runner-up would be Dragon Age Origins(PC).

I'd say COD4MW2 but I haven't played Uncharted 2 yet. I have it but haven't started it yet.

Would have to go with Batman Arkham Asylum myself... With a close 2nd to MW2. Have Assassins Creed 2 up next and still have yet to play Uncharted 2. Bought it, but thanks to Amazon screwing it up, didnt get it so it will wait for now.

Of the titles listed, I absolutely loved Batman: AA and Assassin's Creed 2. Of course, those are the only ones I've played (don't have a PS3, and I don't do FPS). Between B:AA and AC2, it's rough as hell but I'd give the edge to AC2. That was a game that fully engaged me from start to finish like no other game I've played in years.

I'd still give my personal favorite to The Beatles: Rock Band though. Is it a revolutionary title? Not particularly, but the care and detail and game elements were just top notch throughout, and I just couldn't the damn thing down (still can't, even though I've played it multiple times over now, all songs plus all DLC).

Groin pull

Borderlands for me. (I haven't played PS3 games so they're N/A.) It's just damn fun, and offers both online and offline co-op, which I think is underserved.

Batman gets points for being immersive and atmospheric and having great characterizations, but I just didn't like it that much.

I like Beatles Rock Band but it hasn't drawn me in as much as RB1 or RB2 has. Maybe I'm just getting burned out on rock band games.

Dragon Age: Origins. Thread over .

My top ten

1: Borderlands....not even close

2: Assassins Creed 2...one hell of a ride

3: Batman....fell apart a bit at the end

4: Dragon Age...some great tough choices

5: Modern Warfare 2...single player not long enough, but spec ops a great idea. Online is just more of the first game...

6: Uncharted 2...best middle of any game this year, but the beginning is slow to start, and the ending loses a lot of steam. Great game, but not even close to game of the year, or all time like some are saying.

7: Wolverine...did not get the reviews I thought it deserved.

8: Halo ODST...a bit short, but very well done.

9: Prototype...just not polished enough...but one hell of a ride

10: Godfather 2...another game that did not get the love I felt it deserved.

I have Infamous and Killzone 2 and a few others to play before I make my final list.

Street Fighter IV is my game of the year.

My personal game of the year is Borderlands. Loved a lot of other games like Batman, Flower and Beatles Rock Band.

All are worthy, so I'm going to arbitrarily vote for Shadow Complex just because nobody else has.

Though i've only seen clips no doubt Unchartedis the front runner. It's safe to say COD and maybe Halo gets mentioned. Yes I'm partial to Borderlands as the game has become the sleeper hit of the year. Hardly any fanfare or push and a totally unkown. Maybe not the same impact as Bioshock had but awful close.

IMHO....its Uncharted 2.
