I can't wait for this, the preview video had me drooling. I was lucky enough to grab a key from Fileplanet, so I'm interested to see how it plays later this week. My copy of MW2 is supposed to arrive from Amazon on the 19th, but it might have to wait on the shelf for a couple days

You lucky PS3 owners, I'm deeply envious. I remember playing the 360 Beta for the original Bad Company. I hope they include Conquest mode out of the gate when the full game gets released.

are they gonna have conquest mode this time?

Conquest mode was added to the original as a free DLC, along with a number of new multiplayer maps.

I'm pretty sure it comes included out of the box this time.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (Demo)

Can't wait! This game is coming out at the perfect time. After a couple months of MW2, I'm ready for something new.

Just played the 360 demo annd really liked it, I LOVED Battlefield 1943, played it a ton, and enjoyed Bad Company, I thought they got the controls right in 1943. The first bad company kind of felt off control wise, it felt sluggish. I feel here they stuck pretty close with 1943. It feels good, visuals are pretty good. I cant wait for this game.

It did feel that it seemed like it took more hits to take someone down and I still wish you wouldnt have to wait 5 seconds when you die and could just respawn like Call of Duty, I know its been like that in all the Battlefield game, just wish they would just do instant respawn.

Tried to get the beta key but the site claims I'm not in the US. I guess PR doesn't count.

So what is the War Tapes audio setting supposed to do? I originally set it to Home Cinema as that was the best setting in the last game but then I found this weird option. It sounds different but I can't really say if it's better or simply louder.

I played the demo last night and Im not impressed. Its no different than the first game. Mainly with the shit 480p graphics

I enjoyed the first. Though I've never played it on multiplayer. The second seemed good though a bit hectic. I really like the characters so I'm really gonna be looking at this for the single player experience.

This game just jumped on my radar because of the solid 9.5 Game Informer gave it. They compared the single player favorably to Modern Warfare, which is the real reason I paused. Anyone heard anything on how long the single player is? MW2 was just to short to have any sort of impact with me, so I hope this one clocks in over 10 hours at least.

I have not played the demo yet, but from the videos, and the review in Game Informer, the graphics look great....maybe I am missing something Ravenous????

There's a new preview site. Access is limited to previous Battlefield or COD players.

There's 8 maps listed. It looks like 3 are for Rush, 2 are for Conquest, and 2 are for both Rush & Conquest (one map doesn't specify the game modes).

They also have a full weapons, vehicles and gadgets list.
