tried taking advantage of the glitch at best buy but no luck.
attempted to buy the following and items were scanned in this order:
socom $29.99
marvel ultimate alliance $59.99
oblivion $29.99
oblivion was given $0. i asked the cashier if he can scan marvel last. he asked why, and i said i was trying to get marvel to ring up as free. so he did, but this time, socom came up as $0.
so i just thought forget it and left.

yea, he was pretty cool about it and said it may not work. i asked if he could still try. he shrugged and tried.

I was just thinking of something. Since i paid with Debit, If BB sees that I took advantage of the glitch, can they re-charge my card to make the cheapest game free?

Apparently this has happened with past buy 2 get one free sales:

Best Buy has some horrible POS programming, that aside do you think they will give us trouble if we try exchanging games later on for new upcoming releases?

Lol, a guy who works at Best Buy took advantage of the sale netting 20 RR's and 10 60 dollar games, AND GOT FIRED. He posted over to CAG and says he is going to sue ROFL
Not sure if we are allowed to post the site here but it is in the Deal/Shopping Discussions & Bragging Rights forum. You will see it, he is getting flamed to all hell

what a dumbass. Did he actually use his rewards zone card? No way he'll ever win a lawsuit. I wonder what would've happened if he didn't return the games. Would BB arrest him for theft?
