So what are these new changes hinted at in this last issue? Is Game Informer also going the way of Disney? I sure hope not.

I figured I better get in on this thread, as it seems to be the place to be...

I think I got my last issue a few years back, before Halo 3 came out. Getting one know would indicate (possibly) that I go to Gamestop. I do not.

Uh, so how often does Game Informer come out? Cuz my EGM was switched to Game Informer when they went kaput, and I just received my first issue (The Beatles one) last week.

I haven't even browsed through it yet. Just from the cover & title font, I gauged that this magazine sucks. I guess I should actually open it up and read it.

I agree, and it's not close.

Better articles, better paper, more attractive layout, and better review style with a write-up and a second-opinion.

EGM has been a mess for the past few years...just random crap all over the place with no sense of direction and nothing even resembling a unified vision.

How did you get switched to GI when I got switched to stupid, virtually unrelated MAXIM??
I'm calling shenanigans! I wanted an actual gaming magazine to replace my previous one, not a cut rate bikini-tease rag....

I got Maxim as well..which was fun until my 11 year old daughter asked me why I had magazines with half naked girls on them in my bathroom...which made me feel like a perv, so now I just give them away at work.

Well the answer of course is that I can no longer get the magazines with completely naked girls in them because your mom doesn't like that

a sad banana is maybe the saddest thing I can think of...and that includes homeless children...with puppies.

Any idea on the new Game Informer changes coming in October? I'm just hoping that G.I. hasn't been taken over by Disney.
