Lost: Via Domus, worth $10 for a Lost fan?
I don't rent and the cheapest I've seen this used is $15. Recently, I saw GameCrazy marked their new copies for this down to $9.99.
I've heard the game is very linear with little replay. That being said, for a huge Lost fan like myself, is it worth the money to buy it? Worst case scenario if I hated it, I can resell it to a local shop for a guaranteed $5 in credit.

I paid $10 for it, and I was happy with the purchase. It was cool to wander around some of the areas of the island.
At the very least, it's an easy 1000 gamerpoints.

These days I view $10 a lot like 800 gamer points on XBLA. Very much worth it as a $10 XBLA game

If you are just interested as a fan of Lost to see the 'expanded' experience just set aside a couple hours and watch the whole game on YouTube. Think of it as a bonus feature of the dvds.

As a Lost geek, I loved it. Played through twice for absolutely no reason. As a video game, it's pretty substandard but you can't beat wandering the island.

I was ok with the $5 I spent on it. It's really no better than a rental and it's very, very fast to play through. Though the whole fuse-finding mechanic is shit.
$10 is pushing it, honestly. I still need to lend it out to some friends to make the most of my investment

What kind of game is it, exactly? It's supposed to be third-person adventure, but is there combat of some sort? I've been tempted to get it sometimes.
I really hope they get another shot at a game someday. I imagine it was tough to do this one, because they weren't going to give things away that they weren't ready to reveal on the show. So, they had to come up with some sort of side story that played it safe while giving fans something new. With all the time travel stuff now out in the open, and no more concerns over spoiling the story, they could do a much better game when the series is over.

I only remember one part that could be considered combat, and that's a stretch.
Most of the danger was around avoiding Smokey.

Interactive walkthrough would probably be how I describe it. Some parts are a bit more interactive than others, but in general there's no really any combat or 'gameplay' so to speak. Still way too fun for what it was if you really like Lost.

If you are a Lost fan get it. It is very easy. I don't think it takes long to finish. It tells a good story, though not great. Good "Lost" twist at the end. Flashbacks well done. Not a good game by any stretch of the imagination, but for 10 bucks, and being a lost fan you will be happy you picked it up.

Turned out GameCrazy had mismarked the new copies. It was $10 used, so I picked up The Force Unleashed for $15 new.
I'll probably pick it up for $5 used down the line when it pops up at the locally owned shop.
