The Conduit
I might dust off my Wii and give this one a try. I love the Wii controls for Metroid. IGN gave it an 8.6. I'd be interested in your thoughts.

Re: The Conduit
From my post in the general Wii thread:
That IGN review is spot on out of all the reviews I've read. Most of the complaints I've read are the generic FPS complaints about the story, linear progression etc. But the majority of FPS's will get those same comlplaints. Also glossed over are the "rewards" for locating these blue holo discs throught the game. For those completists it will add some further exploration to pick them all up.
If you enjoy FPS's, then you will enjoy this one.
Impressions so far:
Graphics wise, I think it's too early to tell. The environments you start in don't lend themselves to a ton of detail. I've only gone through about 30 minutes of the single player portion.
Particle effects are nice. Depth of field blur when using scoped weapons and changing clips is pretty cool looking. The ASE effects are well done. Overall it's a good looking game (comparing to other Wii titles only). Water looks great.
I spent about an hour with the online multi-player. Played free-for all deathmatch, and some team based games. It was a little laggy at times, but mostly I think it was because I was playing worldwide rather than regional (not enough regional players to get a game going and I suspect that will change as the game is officially in most stores today).
It's a lot of fun. Didn't hear anyone on Wii speak. You can vote between round to change game parameters from level, weapon set and game type(within genre or free-for all, team objective and one other).
And as far as control and HUD customization....wow...if you can't find something you like, then you are just plain too picky.
I think the favorable reviews I've read so far are pretty much on the money.
