FYI, yellow caps are infinitely easier to read than red caps.

Not bad. I thought you talked a family member into sending them to you.

There are some legit guys on eBay that are selling the codes for the songs themselves.

Since apparently you just get a straight up 200 Wii points when you pick a song (since Nintendo does not have the ability to make specific d/l codes), has anyone cashed in a few tops and, say, bought a VC or Wii-ware game with their points instead?

The Wii codes give you points rather than actual songs? There are definitely some VC and Wii-Ware stuff I'd pick up. I've just been waiting for some super cheap Wii-points.

JESUS CHRIST MAN! There's just some things you don't talk about in public!

I redeemed 20 of the caps before I had to head in to work. All of them were valid codes. I also ordered off another guy on eBay last week that sent me the codes (25 for $17 + 2 extra). All of those worked as well.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

i just took a chance on ebay - 25 for $15 - and he's going to email the codes. :)

the song where you have four players in your band, have full over drive, then activate one player at a time right before the next one runs out.

Not so smart-ass answer: The Kill, can be done easily with 2 players on guitar/bass, and possibly with drums alone.

Liver&Onions 07-13-09 02:56 PM

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

I think on Alive it was pretty easy as well, providing you had 4 people and coordinated a bit.

Mordred 07-13-09 02:57 PM

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

Ah, so there's no way to do it solo guitar.

redbill 07-13-09 03:03 PM

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

similar question, is it possible to get the million points with 2 players on any song? expert guitar/drums? The closest we came was Camera Eye, almost 900k...

dani california? Or one of the other chili peppers on disc songs was easy for that one I think

Well you will get some free cavities out of the deal, that is unless you are dumping it down the drain like some people.

Spoiler:
Assuming you plan on getting as many caps as Shagrath!

I'd consider it an employment benefit that they only charge you 60 cents for a 20oz bottle.
