I hope it's more like ICO and less like Shadow Of The Colossus. I know everyone here reveres Shadow Of The Colossus but that game bored me to tears. On the other hand, I found ICO completely enchanting.

After watching the video, I definitely get an ICO vibe out of it so I'm definitely excited.

I haven't had the pleasure of playing Shadow of the Colossus, but ICO was an absolute treat, and this looks really similar. The music in the trailer was excellent too!

I agree. ICO was amazing, and IMO, superior to Colossus. Colossus was decent but often felt more like work than anything (fighting the camera and the endless horse riding didn't help things out)

Though a hybrid of the two would be cool, or something completely unique.

I haven't played Ico or SotC, so which should I tackle first? I see people prefer Ico, but aren't they related in some way?

They're separate of one another, just developed by the same team. I'd play ICO first regardless, it's the better game.

In saying that, don't you think he'd want to play SotC first? That way it's not a let-down (not that I think it is).

Naw, half of what drove me forward in SotC was remembering how much I liked Ico. Kept thinking it'd get better (and it did a little bit). Plus most people seem to prefer SotC. Where as Ico is obviously inspired by Out of this World / Another World, SotC is something wholly original in the realm of single player gaming.

Oh Hell Yeah!!! This instantly becomes my number 1 most anticipated game, ahead of Red Dead Redemption.
