I think you're thinking of someone else. I got no challenge and didn't see any songs that you were above me in the leaderboard. Please share. (As I didn't check them all.)

It was the one that went something like this:
Ump, chish, ump ump chish.

Not sure, but I got the 1up acheevo for it. And since i hate this type of music, i really don't bother looking who the song is. Except House of Pain, that shit is good yo. It had to have been one of the songs in Ibiza.

This guy seems to be putting up decent rips of the tracks. Better than nothing or the stuff with gameplay sound effects at least.

Re: The Official DJ Hero Thread of BPMs, Faders and Scratches

I just got DJ Hero 2 and was wondering if I haven't played the first one is it worth checking out after playing 2? Just wondering if the improvements in the second one would make the first one not as fun.

I still might get it though just for the music.

If you can do it for cheap you probably should still check it out. But yes, after playing 2 it's going to seem like a huge step backwards. (With the loss of freestyle crossfading, scratching, and sampling.)

Re: The Official DJ Hero Thread of BPMs, Faders and Scratches

That's kind of what I was thinking. I think I'll still get it though at the right price because I really like the music in these games.

But yeah, there are a ton of great tracks and a TON of them. So well worth the money probably at this point, and still a bunch of fun to play the songs.

Are DJ Hero DLC packs playable on DJ Hero 2?

BTW : Thanks for that Coke Rewards heads-up. Amazingly, it's still active.

There is an update or download required, but yes, DJ Hero 1 DLC works in 2. (Whithout the DJ Hero 2 upgrades naturally.)

Also worth noting...many local Best Buys have the big Renegade edition cases/stands available loose in store for $5. My Best Buy had two huge stacks of them. Most are pretty beat up, so you should make sure everything works properly in store, but it's a stupid awesome deal if you can get one.

Re: The Official DJ Hero Thread of BPMs, Faders and Scratches

FYI, the Coke rewards is not available for the Wii.

I have DJ Hero 1 & 2 on the Wii because that is in the living room, where the most space is available for game playing and I found the renegade edition dirt cheap, that's what I get for being cheap.

Re: The Official DJ Hero Thread of BPMs, Faders and Scratches

I just finally opened my copy of DJ Hero that I bought last April or May. I really like it. So does my daughter. It's so nice getting that case from Best Buy. Makes it so much easier to play and a good storage solution. It's nice that I got the game bundle for $40, the case for $5 at Best Buy and the Eminem/Jay-Z DLC pack for $4 on sale this week, so that's identical to getting the Renegade Set for $49, I think.
