You're a trooper to do it on the cheap. I'm hoping the next Star Trek game is Mortal Kombat vs. Star Trek.

I just submitted my review. I really wanted to like this one, but it sucks, plain and simple.

The latest Star Trek game might be the most annoying and buggiest game I've ever fucking played in my life.

Was it worthy enough to bump a thread that has been dead for 4 1/2 years?

I'm not even sure I know what Trek game was recently released...

Re: Star Trek games?

The newest Trek game I played was that third person co-op thing and it was awful.

Re: Star Trek games?

Was anyone surprised that it sucked? Aren't most games based off a movie pretty shitty?

Re: Star Trek games?

I think Star Trek was a unique example because JJ Abrams was involved at the beginning and because it was in development long enough to not seem like a cheap cash in. The problem Abrams ran into, just like his Lost showrunners did with their game, was that you can't really make story changes on the fly in a video game because production is completely different, and therefore they distanced themselves from the game entirely.
