This game is amazing. Game Informer said that the game was in development for 2.5 years and it shows. I have had several jaw dropping moments so far. I should finish it tonight or tomorrow, on my first run.

How long does it take new games like this to go from Xbox Live Gold to Silver download status?
Bummed I can''t try it out yet?
When did MS start this crap, BTW?
Thanks for the info!

I finished the game on normal, all achievements except collect all dog tags and beat the game on hard. This was a fun game that started out simplistic, but got deeper as you leveled up. Using the different mutagens can really open up various strategies within gameplay. I started on hard now, tracking the dog tags as I go. This is a game anyone who enjoys action/fighting games should check out. I rented it, but even at full price, this one is worth grabbing.

Playing the demo, I have to say this game is satisfying as hell to play. I won't buy it, as I think I can rent it and get through it in a week, but I really liked what I saw. I actually preferred it to the very little original God of War I played. That is thanks in no small part to me naturally caring more about the license.

I ended up using my rain-check from Fry's and got this for $45. Totally worth it.
It's super fun and the constant upgrades keeps things from feeling too repetitive and do a good job at making it seem like you're progressing. It's really addictive and kinda tough to stop playing once you're on a roll. The only thing that got me to stop at first was a glitch; I was supposed to advance by leaping onto an enemy across a ledge, but the enemies were frozen and there was no one on the ledge for me to leap onto, so I had to quit. Good thing the glitch didn't re-occur.
At a supposed 15 hours, this is pretty chunky for such an action game.

Hell yeah! I just cracked this open today. Damn fun game! I like how visceral some of Wolverine's moves are. Impaling enemies, lopping off arms, and counter-attacks are all really cool. I'm at a part where you have to use stealth elements and dodge turrets, which doesn't feel natural to me, but otherwise the combat is a blast. The boss fights are pretty cool too, especially slamming sabertooth down on a table in a bar brawl. Can't wait to see what the rest of the game has to offer!

I knocked out the last two achievements a couple days ago, getting the full 1000/1000. Fun game and I hope the sequel delivers a more varied experience with a deeper upgrade system.

Love this game! i played for like 3 hrs yesterday so its really addicting.
I was stuck on the Weapon X Facility level where you had to dodge the laser turrets on the second floor of the room but realized there was a computer on the left that controls the shield and basically just move with it. Took me ages to figure out until i noticed the computer there.

I'll give that a try tonight. All the walkthroughs I read said you have to dash straight from the crank to the door, which means you have to grab the tag first, then backtrack to the crank.

Re: Wolverine Demo=Not Bad At All
I turned the crank, dashed to the corpse, then a quick dash through the door. I don't know if the time allotment changes on hard, but I used this method on hard and made it through with the tag on my first attempt. Has anyone heard news of any kind of DLC on this?

I ran over to the dog tag first, then cranked, then dashed out the door. I cut it so close the game hiccuped a little bit. I think it contemplated crushing me for a second.

Hooray -- I got past that part -- grabbed the dog tag, ran back to the crank, and made it through the door.
I've also unlocked two of the bonus costumes (one of which was already unlocked due to having bought the game at Best Buy, but oh well). There's nothing quite like some Wolverine-on-Wolverine action.

For those that played or are playing...how did you feel about some of the platform/puzzle aspects of the game? I found some of those bits to be a surprise, especially in a game like this, but they definitely changed the game up a bit which was nice since you mostly just tear people up non stop.

They distracted me from the slashin', impalin', and murderin' Bub.

Re: Wolverine Demo=Not Bad At All
I really love them!
I still remember when I was listening MajorNelson's podcast and the produce was talking about how they wanted to created the best movie based game ever, the best Wolverine game, etc., etc. I was like "yeah, sure...". Then I started all the comments here and downloaded the demo. When I finished the demo I was really anxious since I wanted to keep playing. I got the demo a few days later.
I haven't had a lot of time to play, just finishing the first chapter and so far it has been a blast. I can't believe this game is so much fun. It surprised me a la Crackdown, not that they are similar, but I didn't expected too much of them.
