The big update hits tomorrow.

On Wednesday, 4/1, at 2AM PST, the long-awaited and eagerly-anticipated title update for Lips will be released to the world. With a multitude of features and fixes, the new Lips experience promises to bring heightened levels of depth and polish to your favorite singing game.

Along with the title update, the new PowerPack DLC will be available for download at the same time. If you download and install the PowerPack DLC with the title update, you will be able to enjoy global leaderboards, a new microphone calibration tool, and shiny UI changes designed to improve and streamline your Lips experience. The PowerPack DLC is optional and free for download, but don't let that deter you from getting it. With the title update and the PowerPack DLC, you will be able to enjoy the full new Lips experience like never before.

So on Wednesday, boot up your Xbox 360 and get the new Lips title update and PowerPack DLC! It's time to kick the party up a notch!

And no this will not let you use the Lips mics in Rock Band or Guitar Hero.

ugh or cool, not sure yet based on this tidbit. That infinity achievement is sure hard to get.

I got the infinity achievement singing The one I love it was a bitch to get it though. The update is up now.

LOL! Maybe you haven't played yet after the update. I checked the friend leaderboard and I was the only one there. :-)

damn it, i still need to get the infinity achievement still. people have been saying that bust a move is the easiest one to do it on, but haven't found a way to get 4,000,000+ on that song. and with the new no mumbling update, it'll make it just a little harder to get through that song...

Delete the update and do it offline.

I don't have it either, but I've only played it a few times. Purchased it mainly for the mic's supposed future support with Rock Band.

Try this works for me all the time, you will need a controller in 1 hand and the mic in another. You don't need 4,000,000 I did it today and only got 3mil.

Though it's been a few months, Microsoft today re-affirmed that the Xbox 360 release of Rock Band 2 will indeed be someday compatible with the flashy wireless microphones that came with the Microsoft-published, iNis-developed karaoke game Lips (X360).

Not only that, but Neversoft's recent Xbox 360 release of Guitar Hero Metallica will be joining Harmonix's multi-instrument game in its support of the wireless microphones.

In fact, Guitar Hero Metallica will be the first to get the downloadable update that enables compatibility, followed by Rock Band 2 update in the "summer." No word as to exactly when the updates will arrive, but it's still good news for those tangled up in blue wires.

Microsoft added that other games due out this year will also support the Lips mics.

For those interested, Lips is on sale for $39.99 (free shipping) at Amazon right now. I'm thinking about it, mostly for Rock Band microphones.

Has anyone else ever had mic problems, where it will just essentially disconnect during the middle of a song? I'm not sure if its the game, the mics, or my Xbox.
