Normally I'd have put that info in the XBLA thread, but I remembered you started this one, so I dug it up instead.

My wallet's still out. Not sure why, since I don't need it to spend Microsoft Points.

What a long, strange trip it's been.

I did not get a chance to demo this at PAX East, but I did overhear some positive discussion of it. I honestly still don't know what this game actually is. I guess I should watch the newest trailer?

I played one 4-player game at the standup arcade machines. None of us had any idea what to do and there was no direction. After the guys at the other machine finally picked their characters, we somehow stumbled into a doorway in the level select which became a 2v2 soccer/basketball match. You'd carry and throw a ball all while trying to hit your opponents to knock the ball out of their hands or keep them away from your partner. I couldn't get a handle on the throwing mechanic and always overshot the goal. Luckily my partner was able to figure out how to drop it in so we won 1-0.

It was like a weird mix of Raskulls and Rocket Riot. Very floaty controls.

I was underwhelmed from that particular experience, but I'll still try the demo.

I haven't checked the leaderboards : Am I the only one who bought this game? I sort of like it. It's not like Raskulls at all; it's far better. I'd say it's a cross between Ms Splosion Man (though not as difficult) and Hell Yeah. It's a simple platformer with light combat and lots of collectables and tons of unlockables. It's funny as hell. I played for a couple of hours last night and enjoyed it. Haven't tried the multiplayer yet (didn't look that great, but I'll check it out sometime). Anyone else get this game yet.

I've been really holding off on any new XBLA games till I hear whether they will transfer to the next system.

I have a strong feeling that will be the case.

So it makes me not want to invest in any standalone XBLA games when I still have several unplayed. The Cave being the biggest one right now.
