I was crying watching that video -- just hilarious. I bet YouTube will be flooded with videos like this. I planned on getting this game for my daughter -- but I think it'll be fun to teach the monkey some FEAR!

I froze on a Blu-ray movie and updated to 3.01. Now I'm getting more freezes and even crashed on Uncharted 1, which I've played many times without incident. And with Uncharted 2 almost here!

I thought that was 3.00, and 3.01 was issued to address this.

It's weird how these updates cause problems with some people. I've never really had any problems with an update, although my system went out a few weeks ago. I had updated to 3.00 or whatever was newest about a week or so beforehand, but it had started freezing before that update, so I doubt the update was the problem.

Ah, you're right... hadn't been following the news that closely since I don't own Uncharted and I didn't upgrade anyway. I should check my Blu playback, though.

Yeah, 3.00 only affects some PS3's and 3.01 only fixed the problem on some of the affected PS3's. I was lucky enough to not have glitches with 3.00 so I didn't bother getting the 3.01 update.

It's also odd that there's no rhyme or reason as to which PS3's are affected. At first, it seemed only the slim models were affected. Then some fat PS3's were affected. And there are both slim and fat PS3's that are completely unaffected.

The irony is that my 360 has never had a problem, knock on wood, though the PS3 gets a lot more use because it's my main bd/sd player.
