You didn't kill eroc.

Eroc shot your mine in your base to clear it and got credit for killing your teammate (Wiz) who happened to be in range of the mine. So you not only killed your teammate, but you also gave the other team credit...and got both Wiz and Eroc falsely accused of negligent minery.

If flip dropped his balls on you...you probably deserved it. ;)

Flip, can you host this week? I have a test on Wednesday morning and may need to read a bit. I will be on regardless, but may have to sit out a few rounds...and if you host, I have the option of getting off early.

I know eroc can't make this week, so if chew is out as well and I'm a bit stretched, we need a strong showing from everybody else. Last week was a pretty solid turnout. We need to repeat that!

I'll be there. :) I haven't played any videogames in well over a week. I'm itching to get back in the groove.

I may not be able to play tomorrow, and if I do I will probably be late. I'm going on an 6-8 hour hike, and probably won't be back in time to play.

i should be on again, but i tried the mike settings and people said there was still a lot of feedback. I will dig out my USB headset and get an extention for it and we will see i I fair anybetter with that.


I did have fun last week. w/i 2 minutes of joining, I tried to shoot a team mate, b/c I was confused, and getting used to driving that tank again was hell..hopefully I will fair better this week...

You did fine. It's really on us to give you enough time/space to get comfortable. I'll try to give you a bit of cover when I can this week.

I'll host then...sorry to hear you're not feeling well.

I'll plan to keep 3-4 of our standard maps, and I'll try to mix in some maps that are friendly for smaller numbers. We'll definitely get in a little more DM than usual. I'll also try to work on my ground game since all of the other flyers (mostly eroc) will be out.

One request tonight...give R2 some space to get acclimated...maybe pass up an easy kill every now and then. Hopefully he'll have his mic sorted out.

It's actually ivelostr2 (I've lost R2)...but like most everybody else, I've shortened it a bit [digi, ofer, eroc, flip, Wiz, Z, Steve, etc.]

This one was especially bad...a constant high-pitched noise. I just kept thinking that I was glad you weren't there to give him a hard time!

But hey, he seems to be a fellow Star Wars fan...so, mic notwithstanding, you guys should get along famously! :)

I havent had my mic on latley because I think either you guys barely hear me or Im all garbled :lol:

Maybe turnout won't be so bad...eroc and steve are the only two who definitely can't make it. Hopefully digi will turn up, and we should have normal sized game tonight.

Awesome games tonight fellas! Enjoyed seeing another new face and hope we weren't playing too aggressively. You'll both be up to speed with us in no time!

Sorry you couldn't get in Ofer...there were only 8 minutes of the last non-DLC map left anyway though.

Nic44 is RL friend, but he is also on the boards here sometimes…not often though….
Im guessing my mic was better tonight, I had my old SOCOM headset, and a USB extension , but I wasn’t sure that would work, but no one seemed to complain.

Fun times tonight. Sorry about my mic sensitivity at the beginning (I forgot to change it initially within Warhawk, I only tried to do the general PS3 settings.). After I fixed it was it better? Could I even be heard? Was it still giving feedback?

I might have to use that "knives only" strategy again on a future small TDM map. I came in third. :)


Last night certainly takes the prize for the number of times I've heard talk about "balls" in any one evening. :sad:
