Between Chew passing ( :( ), me deploying, and my guys fading out all at once, I'll bet it feels that way. I just hope you guys can keep it limping along until I get back. Warhawk has been my best experience ever in gaming, and I'd hate to lose that.

Keep the maps small, cockgobblers.

Think I can be on. I'll let you know if my buddy's going to join us, in which case non-DLC maps would be appreciated.

My friend and I will be in at around 8:00pm CST. He only has the original disc and not the DLC so if we can make the maps for after that time original maps only, it would be appreciated, thanks.

I had a lot of fun last night. I don't even know how many games I won or lost and I don't really care. Whenever my team was down a flag or a kill I would try and help out a little more, whenever we were up I tried to help the other team a bit. Great times all around.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Things started out sloooo-oooowwww. At one point Nic and I were talking about playing Rock Band instead. Neither of us really played the lobby. The second map was a douche to the draw. Spatula and Slider showed up either at the end of the third map or the beginning of the fourth. Spatula brought over some BFBC2 guys who turned out to be pretty good. We were "rolling" 3 on 3 for most of the night. But yeah, a pretty fun night overall once things got going.

Thoughts:

I love death by health pack. Throw it on a jeep, watch them drive away. Forgot how much I enjoyed that.

Grinder CTF is Warhawk on PCP. Great map. Even if it was a little lopsided. The map degraded (upgraded?) into a douchefest when we got 4 flags. I hope the other team enjoyed our shenanigans...

Fortress Collection. FTW. I do have to admit, though, that it was more fun with jetpacks. When the prescription is chaos... only jetpacks will do.

Dogofwar proved to be pretty good in a Warhawk. Certainly good enough to be a hazard (read: annoying) in the skies. The new guys overall were pretty handy. Even the one guy who said he hadn't played much proved at least as useful as Slider when he's not really trying. Is that a compliment? I don't know. Maybe?

That is good to hear...especially the part about the BC2 guys. I'd imagine the two have a good amount of overlap when it comes to people who would enjoy them.

My love for Warhawk knows no bounds, but I kind of miss BC2 more. Sort of like the wife and the hot chick I just met. ;)

Dogowar needs a DVDTalk account.

I'm not new, per se... I've only managed to make it a handful of times over the past few years. (ogsoley)

I know you, Ogs. You do just fine for not playing very often. I think you're around enough, even, that Slider doesn't feel the need to give you the newbie treatment.

It was that other guy that Spatula brought in. I can't remember his name now... but he was catching on to our shenanigans pretty quickly.

That was bjhess and he used to post here over ten years ago as torrid. I'll see if I can twist his arm into getting the DLC so we can jetpack, though I know he's out this week and I'll be out all of June as I'll be out of town the entire month. Be back in July.

I agree, Dogowar needs a DVDTalk account and I'll make a push again. It would be good to get Eggo on here, too, another guy I met through BFBC2.

I hear you exactly, chess, about Warhawk and BFBC2. I like 'em both yet if no one is online and I have to play one with strangers, I go to BFBC2 over Warhawk almost every time, even if BFBC2 squadplay with strangers doesn't actually guarantee squadplay.

Thanks for the fun times, everyone. Sorry I had to bail before the last map.

Yep, BFBC2 is completely playable with no friends on, and you only need 2-3 to put together a good squad.

Warhawk takes a bit more coordination, but when we have a good crew on, it's pure bliss.

Also just pleased that you found a couple of games you like.

Map 1: nobody
Map 2: Slider and I jumped on the same team to team kill each other to smithereens.
Map 3: Capture the Flag. Slider and I played something that didn't resemble a CTF.
Map 4:

Map 4:

I joined in for some CTF with no flag captures.

After that, flip jumped off for a few minutes and I talked Kim into joining. She couldn't remember how to play and I may have been a little douchey. She drove over to my base in a tank. I waited behind her for her to get out so I could kill her with her own tank but she couldn't get out of the tank. I wrenched her instead. At the end of that map, she quit and flip and I decided to play some rock band.

I think warhawk may be dead until friz comes back.

In other news, I hope to have battlefield 2 today.

If you would jump on and play then we can continue. It just is not much fun with flip, slider and myself. We seem to be the only ones who want to play.

Sorry. I logged on late (after 11) and nobody was playing. I was totally going to join you guys but then my daughter and I started playing the Lego Pirates demo and then some DJ Hero / Rock Band 2 while somehow watching the NBA Finals. She's only around for a couple of more days and then she is going to the In-law's until my son's surgery in early July.
