FWIW, I found a new guy to join our Tuesday games. I have no idea how good he is... but he's been playing for awhile so he's definitely not a noob. :shrug:

I really wish they'd just release more DLC maps and new vehicles, and boats. Starhawk looks too different.

I think I'm going to buy Starhawk at launch...not something I normally do. I hope it's a PSN release like Warhawk was. The idea of my Warhawk transforming into a mech gives me -other-

Chew would have loved the turtling and building. :(

My only concern is the zooming in to shoot and what appears to be an independent camera. I liked that Warhawk played like a FPS that just happened to have an on-screen avatar. Doubt that makes any sense, but if you think about it, you are never thinking about a camera in Warhawk...you're just aiming.

I hadn't noticed a launch date. If it is this fall that will suck as I am going to be sooooooo broke in the fall ( Batllefield 3 , New CoD, Skyrim, UC3)

I am. At least, I'm taking the semester off anyway, as our first baby is due in early September. BF3 and Starhawk may end up being the first PS3 games I buy at full-price on release day (remember, I just got my PS3 in December and the only games I have are GTAIV, Warhawk, and BFBC2).

As for gaming in a semester off while being with our new baby, half of me thinks oh, I'll be able to watch the baby and game, no sweat. The other half of me thinks that half of me is naive and will laugh when it fails miserably.
