Don't understand...time...yellow light?

The wookie was stabbed, and it was good. I played a bunch of squad DM tonight....pretty good times. Met the funniest dude, and we were winning the vast majority of our matches. In one, he got 13 dogtags...and the score in DM only goes to 50!

Nice. We need to get these guys together. With the guy I played with on Sunday and your dude I think we could create an uberdouche squad of awesome power. I'd just be the guy banging two coconuts together and tossing medpacks tho.

Didn't get on last night. When I got back from playing some old fart pickup basketball I was too tired to do anything but complain about how much I hurt. And shovel the driveway just so I could pull the car in.

Tuesday, motherbitches.

I'll try to stretch it out a bit with a couple of 30 minute maps early and will load non-DLC for the last couple of maps.

Yessir!

Really good times last night...except for the part where KTown got my dogtags. :grumble:

So now I'm bored. Thought I'd add up how much it has cost to play Warhawk since its release in 2007 compared with our other two series that came out at roughly the same time (CoD4 and Battlefield: Bad Company). Please note that it's simple addition with a minimum of tortured logic.

Warhawk (Aug 2007)
  • $40 downloadable or $60 retail w/ blue-tooth headset.
  • Omega Factory & Dropship $8
  • Biofields and Wrenches FREE
  • Vaporfield Glacier & APC $8 (available at release as 2-pack for $12)
  • Tau Crater & Jetpack $8 (available at release as 3-pack for $18)
  • -------------------------
  • Maximum potential cost: $64 ($84 with bluetooth)

Battlefield: Bad Company (June 2008) + sequel/DLC
  • 2008: $60 no paid DLC
  • 2010: $60+FREE VIP+$15
  • -------------------------
  • Maximum potential cost: $135 ($150 if you count 1943)

CoD4 (Nov 2007) + sequels/DLC
  • 2007: $60+$10
  • 2008: $60+$10+$10+$10
  • 2009: $60+$15+$15
  • 2010: $60+$15+?
  • -------------------------
  • Maximum potential cost: $325 and counting.

Hope we get a Warhawk sequel to even this up a bit!

Thanks, chess. So when I log in tonight, how do I find you all? I'm friends with chess on the PSN; where do I go from there?

I find it pretty easy to go in to the available games screen, sort by games and then scroll down to DVDTALK.

I'd been at a writer's conference for three days prior to this and I'd been a little hung over since Thursday. So to answer your question... it felt glorious. Also, knowing that Ben didn't get that third ring really warmed my cockles.

I was thrilled. When Woodson went down and they scored those back to back TDs, I was starting to get worried. Then the fumble. So far, Big Ben has only played well in one of his 3 Super Bowls, which also warms my heart. ;)

Yep. Or you can just go to the community tab and buddies tab and enter my game directly from there.

I think he might deserve it.

I was mostly rooting for the Packers, but I did like the idea of the Steelers winning one in the Cowboys' stadium.

Okay, cool. I should be home and ready to go on the original maps by around 10:00pm. Sorry it's so late and I appreciate some of you sticking around to missile this noob into oblivion.

That would have been the only redeeming thing for me if they had won, besides it actually being cool that they would have been the only team to come back from a deficit greater than 10 points in SB history.

Listen, if Ben didn't play for the Steelers I'd have been all for the Steelers winning. As it stands, Ben's a douchebag (hence your allegiance, I presume) and an average quarterback that doesn't deserve three Super Bowl rings.
