That's why I was confused. A SPS FPS? huh?

Huh, that is peculiar. Maybe you were right about the whole small penis thing then.

Well. No. Shit. ;)

The point was that without Warhawks, the game loses a good bit of what makes it special...or different from other shooters (nearly all of which happen to be FPS).

...and you have a small penis.

Collection would be like CTF in that you couldn't easily catch someone in a jeep.

Even better for you. CTF where the flag carrier has to be on foot. This is always fun as the flag carrier is invisible on the map as long as they dont shoot or are not visible by anyone on the other team. So, if you get away from the base you have a decent but not guaranteed chance to make it back to the base. You will then also have to rely on your team for cover. I think you could have warhawks or not and both would be interesting.

I didn't know this.

Let's just stick with :banned: TOWs this week. I'd be interested in nixing missile turrets for gimping the hawk, but I'm not going to push that one. :)

I hope not. :(

I did note that he was excited about the next CoD DLC though...and didn't care for third-person.

Hopefully he'll get at least the game (disk is like $10 now at Gamestop) and hang out with us for a Tuesday or two.

I think he's getting it from Gamefly or something. From what I hear their service is pretty hit-and-miss, so who knows how long that will take.

Flip and I are joining the Red Dead Redemption PS3 posse.

If any other Warhawkers are interested, maybe we can create our own Warhawk posse instead. :)

Oh, and K&N Rumble Dome tomorrow, please. :D

I wasn't planning to get the game anytime soon, but that sounds kind of interesting.

Flip will love this! I'll kind of miss the jeeps though. :(

K&N Rumble Dome can suck it.

It's about time I pick up another game perhaps. If we can get a few others to pick it up, I would be down with getting Red Dead Redemption. I don't know how we'll manage a day and time with some people already playing in the two other games, but if we're confident, then I can see myself taking the plunge. I know pretty much nothing about the game, but have heard good things. What is the multiplayer going to be like? (co-op or competitive games?) I'd be much more willing to pick it up if it's stuff like TDM DM CTF etc

The IGN video review briefly goes over the multiplayer options. Seems there's a little bit of everything from co-op in the regular story mode to CTF, quick draw standoffs, skirmishes, etc.

SPS sounds awesome

Still lurking and I've got it at the top of my queue. Though I was thinking about hitting Gamestop this weekend for a looksee if if doesn't ship.

And sorry to say but COD is my crack.

If/when you get it, I need to know, so I can skip DLC maps/vehicles. I'll take Warhawk over any of the CoDs. I actually think Battlefield is quite a bit more interesting than CoD.

Anyway, it's Tuesday bitches!

Rumble Dome lobby...check
What else????

Chew 05-18-10 08:30 AM

We're still doing the "No TOWs!!!" rule this week, right?

Fine. I'll have to come up with more creative ways to deal with Slider.

I'll see you cocksuckers after the lobby. (The RDR lingo is seeping into other threads.)

I'm sure you'll still suicide slam your Warhawk into them like normal.

So for those that aren't reading RDR, a recap.

Someone asked how you accessed multiplayer in RDR... because in GTA it was through your cell phone.

And Groucho says "Smoke signals. Unless it's raining. Then you're fucked."

I'm paraphrasing of course.

Non-sequitorial recaps for people that don't give a damn are awesome.

Using made up semi-words, also awesome.
