I got Saboteur (Destroy an enemy vehicle with the Field Wrench) and another one - I'll have to check. We also need to get Hero modes in our rotation. If you don't know, you basically become "It" but your weapons become more powerful and the role rotates through the team. I actually had more fun when the maps opened and we had vehicles - that way I can change up my strategies on the fly. Also, I don't like to gang up on anyone and like chess I get a kick out of how people are taken out and how I get taken out! I sniped someone yesterday in Archipelagos and that was a kick because it requires so much accuracy.

So I got on at 9 and it looks like it was all shut down by then. I will try again next week, sounds like it was fun.

Last night after we shut down at 11 EST, our clan still only consisted of me and Rocky.

I don't know where the invites go... if Rocky's out there, maybe he can tell you how he found and accepted the invite. If that fails then we'll address my inefficiencies. :)

What's your PSN name? I don't think I had it on my list when I plugged them all in. If you haven't received an invitation post your PSN name and I'll check when I get home tonight. If you don't know where to look for the invite, ask Rocky.

Edit: if you haven't been added as my friend, send me a Friend Request and I'll add you and send the invite all at the same time.

Check to see if you received a message from me. Otherwise go into the Community tab and find the Clan page. There should be an invitations list.

hmmm...is the server name still DVDTALK? I have never joined a specific server before...is it supposed to be listed on the public server list or is there a way to specify a specific server by name?

I order all the servers alphabetically and then just scroll down to DVDTalk and click join. There's probably an easier way but it works.

If you add me to your friends list, you can just search for "buddies" in the "community" folder. Then you just join my game.

I joined the clan last night, so I should be in there...or at least I got the trophy. It's also under "community" and then "clans" I think. Invites should be right there.

We were off at just after 10 CST.

Will add at least one Hero game next week. I've only played it once, but it was fun. I think I played it on "close corridors", which made it pretty hectic...and I may use the same map.

I didn't get any in-game trophies last night, but I think every time I die, somebody gets one. :(

arg...well that is what I did to try to find the server and it didnt show up. Tried from like 8:55 to 9:05 CST or so. Oh well, I will try to join the clan or add you to friend list and do it that way next time. Thanks

OK, since I was asked to chime in... I think what I did was started up Warhawk, went into Community, looked under Clans, and I saw the DVDTalk clan in my list. I selected it and joined it.

IIRC (unless chess found a way around it), there's an 8 person limit at any one time. We had to be maxed out much of the night.

Maybe the server doesn't even display when it's full?

That's not it. I've tried to join full servers - they will display. Ween, I'd suggest you send a friend invite to chess and have him set you up. I just looked for him as a friend after he accepted my invite and found the server. chess, maybe you should be proactive and send friend invites to folks so they won't miss out next week.

Actually, I think we averaged 6-7 most of the night...not sure we ever had 8.

I'm still limited to 8. If somebody else wants to see if they have better bandwidth, I'm happy to let somebody else host...but 8 players on a small to midsized map feels sort of "right" to me.

Best method is to just send me a friend invite and join my game.

Hey Chew, are you sure that chew1138 is your PSN ID? I tried to add it at the Warhawk site to compare stats and it doesn't come up. Everyone else's does.

FYI... http://stats.us.playstation.com/Warhawk/Head2Head.aspx Use this to compare yourself against others if you're curious. Just put in their PS3 name and you'll see stats a'plenty!

Yup, that's certainly it. :)

I don't think I have any "stats" to compare though, I've only played with this group. Since it's not a ranked server, I don't have any points.

I have the settings on "output to headseat" so as to avoid the echo-effect I hear when everybody else is talking. I guess I'll try my speakers instead next week.

I'm actually using the PlayStation Eye as my mic and pushing L3 to talk. I hope that's not overwhelming anyone. I also sit about ten feet away from it.
