Hmm Fight Night 4, doesnt look any better than 3, and almost too fast. But, I'll still be playing UFC anyway.

Oh dear god. EA MMA....here we go....

That video was one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time.

Was that really the grand finale???

Why would I buy Burnout for $20 via download rather than paying the same $20 (or less used) and having a physical thing that I can trade in or sell later?
Call me lazy, but I hate getting up and putting in a disk and I really hate supporting Gamestop. I'll gladly pay Gamestop-used prices directly to publishers. I don't want any of my money going to them.

Maybe so for the below but you're definitely reaching for something........

Tiger Woods
Resident Evil 4 (amazing with Wii controls)
I'm not reaching for anything. I just didn't recognize that your question was rhetorical.

Wii had a weak 2008, but I've gotten my money's worth out of it. I would NOT have wanted to miss Galaxy, Zelda, Metroid, RE4 or Wii Sports.

Lately, I guess we're talking about Mad World and Boom Blox. Also, I have very high hopes for Tiger Woods with Wiimotion plus, and I'll bet we get a very good tennis game as well.

They will have the best fighter in the world...so that is a start. And there are a ton of great fighters not in the UFC. Licensing will be an issue though...

I agree...assuming we get gamestop used prices.

I think you're more likely to get MSRP, in which case I'd rather have a disk (probably discounted) from Amazon.

Edit to add: Oh, and you're lazy

I'm probably the only one here would couldn't care less about MvC2. But TMNT and MI:SE are great. Isn't Shadow Complex that amazing Epic game they showcased during their conference? Can't wait to learn more about the other two.

I bet Decker is comatose from the orgasm he had thinking about analyzing the numbers from 360Voice on those Summer of Arcade titles.

No, I don't care either. Shadow Complex is the game Epic showed. I want that one and Monkey Island for sure, but TMNT looks great as well. Should be some good stuff this summer on XBLA. I'm also getting the Wallace and Grommit games.

Not quite sure what that means -- perhaps there was an insult there, if so it went over my head. I'm looking forward to a couple of those games, though.

'Splosion Man is done by the team that made The Maw, which is a game I really liked. I'll pick up that TMNT game and actually avoided the current one in anticipation of that. Never played a Monkey Island game and might buy that one if it plays and controls better than the W&G demo did.

Re: E3 Expo 2009 : June 2-4 - news, info, coverage, etc.

In a letter from Xbox LIVE general manager Marc Whitten, the Xbox 360's most recent successes are touted, and a few key new features are discussed alongside the current state of the console. Since the most important things have already been talked about by my co-workers, I'm here to tell you about a couple of stealth additions you may have missed.

First up, there's user ratings. A five star rating system is being added that'll allow you to show your approval or disapproval of any piece of XBLM content, and organize by user rating for searches. Yippee! This may not seem like a big deal, but trust me, it'll make random searches much easier.

Besides that, the general slowness of accessing your friends list and having the guide menu pop up is being addressed through a series of updates. Additionally, the friends sorting list, Achievement views, and matchmaking support are getting "revamped."

Again, to the average Xbox 360 player, this won't be a huge deal or even all that noticeable, but to people like you and me, the little things make a huge difference over time.

Glad there going to fix the guide slowness.

MS and Sony need to figure out that downloadable versions of disk-based games need to be discounted. Give me a downloadable game at $45-$50 and I'm all over it. At $60...not a chance.
They could both learn a lot from Steam. I bought Bioshock for $5 on Steam, and they had Assassin's Creed for $10 this weekend, (just to call out two games in that screenshot). At those prices who cares if you can trade or sell later?

But this is just another example of why they need to allow people to do their own hard drive upgrades like with the PS3. Make money off the content, not the accessory.

Hey guys, any news on a new Hitman yet? It's my favorite series and the only thing I'm really looking forward to.

Explain to me how no controller is being used? It's just a webcam picking up movements? No bracelets or anything on your wrists? And they claim it's going to be that responsive. I will never fucking believe that.

Which is not going to happen because is Microsoft. Why does Microsoft, who have bazillions of dollars, do such cheesy ads for their products. The Natal video is as bad as the Songsmith one.

Natal is either not going to do half the things shown in that video OR it's going to be a glitchy POS. @ trying on dresses.

Re: E3 Expo 2009 : June 2-4 - news, info, coverage, etc.

I honestly didn't even get to that part. I watched the guy screwing in the tires, and turned it off. I could just imagine moving your arms toward the screen, the hands stutter, they pull back, then the hands fly off the screen, then you get frustrated and just start flailing your arms wildly. It will NOT be that responsive. How can it be? The Wii has a controller with sensors designed for this, and it has problems with movements such as that. Now you want me to believe this thing is going to perform as flawlessly as that? No.

The fact that even a few people in here are holding out hope, while bashing the Wii in every thread for the wasted controls, reveal a lot about bias they supposedly don't have.
