The whole process should take about 15 seconds. |

This is all of course unless the foil is punched through in which case, that sucks. |
Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
I don't think Best Buy up here is going to have the Pearl Jam code, so I'm glad these tracks will be available separately - I NEED to get Brother. Love that track.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
Thanks - I'll give one or both of those tips a try before trying anything else. I'm somewhat tempted to just solder the connections, though - like they should have been initially.

Here's a neat little stat collection on the Rock Band library in various pie charts: http://www.pwnordie.com/blog/posts/14300

Oh yeah... very good thing. It's like drinking vermont maple syrup. Although there's a trill in the song they left out of the note chart somewhere in the solo, but it's all good.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
I wasn't going to get the Richard Thompson track, but based on the raves here I bought it. They are right, it's a great chart. Recommended!

Edit: Actually I haven't done the RB1 export yet, so the only song I can play is Alabama Getaway. Looks like I'm sitting out this competition unless I can get a copy of the disc before this weekend. |
Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
Not the official DLC bump, so I apologize if it got your hopes up, but there's a quote from Ray Parker, Jr. floating around that he's working on getting The Ghostbuster's Theme in Rock Band.
Carry on. |
Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
Awesome!
|
Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
That would be AMAZING... I'm guessing they'd try to tie it into the release of a third film, whenever that happens (or the videogame, but that seems less likely).

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
He'd better ask Huey Lewis.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
TGOS would be a blast to play and sing ... hopefully it would open the doors to more old soul/funk

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
As expected, no Saint Patty's Day tie-in.
|
Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
I'll definitely be picking up a couple of these. Good stuff.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
Will get about 4 or so. Good week...terrible song choice for EW&F.
Glad to see they revisted Against Me! and got their best track in. James Brown deserved his own pack. |

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
I'll need to listen to some of these again and/or watch the videos once they are released, but I'm sure I'll be getting a few at least. Very nice variety.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
I really wanted Pogues, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, or some Gaelic Storm. :(
I will be all over that James Brown cut and may snag the New Pornographers. I need to give them a listen first since I am less familiar with their work. |
