So it's not a FC then.

The guy who strums twice for each note also technically hit every note in order - but over strums.

But did the multiplier reset?

Nope. But I like watching all of you jump up and down at my 'negative' comment on the video, I'm hoping some heads will explode.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

Yeah, it is kinda funny.

But yeah, he should play the HOPOs as they were meant to be played for it to be a real FC. (I'm not sure which is harder though hitting the HOPOs w/o strumming (if you are used to doing it) or hitting them with strumming)

Whatever, FC is a lame thing anyways, people look like idiots when they say it.

It's sad when mods blatantly troll things. Don't be jealous! You probably haven't even played GGaHT yet.

As a person, I just think the desire to "FC" a video game is a ludicrous thing to worry about. Then to jump around and defend one person's 'accomplishment' when someone else says "meh" makes it all the more hilarious.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

It is only an overstrum if there isn't a note to go with the strum.

I don't worry about FCs, since I'm not very good at the game anyways, but for those people, it is just for the challenge. A lot of these guys can five-star almost all songs the first time playing them, so they need some sort of goal to keep the game interesting.

Another way to think about it is that they're trying to get the highest score that they possibly can. If they don't get a FC, their score won't be as high as it can, because they will lose their multiplier. Do you think that going for high scores is ludicrous?

Speaking of crazy accomplishments... One guy that is both singing on expert and playing the guitar on expert (a.k.a. "voxtar"), getting 100% on both on Sin Wagon.

FC - Full Combo (meaning 100% notes hit and streak is equivalent to total notes in song)
The guy who FC'd GGaHT accomplished this. Sure, it would've been more impressive if he had utilized every hammer-on, but to say it wasn't an FC because of that is just being silly.

I don't worry about FC'ing stuff myself, because I'm not really on that level yet. I play the game mostly for fun with a bit of challenge, and I think that some of these people that go out of their way to FC every song are the opposite. That doesn't make me hate them, it just means we play the game for different reasons.

Exactly. It's an impressive accomplishment. Not sure why people are acting like he didn't "really" do it.

I was wondering why this hadn't been FC'd before because it doesn't look nearly as difficult as some of the other really tough songs (which have been FC'd), but I guess if it wasn't FCable on RB1 that makes sense.

because it gets the RB/GH crew all riled up when someone has an opinion that differs from their own - need I remind you of the Hyperspeed cheat discussion? ;)

I think you're neglecting the fact that this is completely different and there's absolutely no opinions like that topic. Keep your high-school social experiments out of my thread, kid
