Re: Need help choosing between two games
I just finished the Main Quest on Oblivion. It took me about 95 hours, mainly because I did many of the other quests too (especially the Mages Quests). It really is an incredible game.
How does Fallout3 compare to Bio-Shock?

The more apt comparison is Oblivion (it's not like Bioshock at all).
The setting/mood is drastically different. However, Fallout3's gameplay/progression, though more refined, is very similar to Oblivion. Fallout3 is also more polished, but less open-ended than Oblivion. But if you like one, you'll like the other.

I was able to track down a brand new copy of Oblivion: Game of the Year Edition for $19.96 today ... I am very pleased!

I'm in Canada though, so most likely my details won't help you But anyway, bought it at one of the stores here in Toronto (a subsidiary of Circuit City). They sometimes put out a lot of games on clearance at some damn good prices (I have previously gotten Darkstalkers (PSP), Warioware Touched! (DS), Yoshi: Touch and Go (DS) and Kirby: Canvas Curse (DS) from them for $7-$9 each on clearance). I managed to track down pretty much one of the last copies of Oblivion: GOTY in-store, at the $19.96 price, even though the product was removed from their web site since early December. It helped that the game was under the counter, hidden behind a wall of other games
