I saw that on a deal site but wonder how widespread it is. Warehouse clubs can be dumb when it comes to clearancing items. They treat everything as a seasonal product. But hey, bank mistake in our benefit.

Back in 2023, I backed the Kickstarter for Night Stones for $20 and chose to get it for the Switch.

It released on Steam in late 2024 and they announced the ports were going to take awhile.

Then last week they announced the ports weren't going to happen (legal troubles and failed submissions) so their team decided to refund everyone who chose a console version. So yesterday, I got my $20 back.

I hopped on to Steam only to learn that it's on sale for $6.59 (67% off of $19.99) and so I picked it up.

One of sons played the demo last year and loved it.

Can't wait to give it a shot soon... and I'm grateful for a Kickstarter that kept their integrity in check.

I see one person on Bluesky saying they got it for $9.99 plus tax, but they were a BJ's member. I'm not sure if that makes a difference or if that was just a fluke.

We don't have BJ's around here but I thought it was like costco, you can't buy anything without a membership (or some kind of workaround)

I went to BJ's and they didn't have the game in stock. They looked at me like I was crazy. I did leave with a Pizookie though, so not a total loss.

Finally bit on the switch/switch2/pc 8bitdo Ultimate 2 controller. Tempted by the switch 2 pro controller but refurbished, not so sure about that.

I don't need another controller, let alone another 8bitdo controller and one that can't turn on the Switch 2. But it is really tempting for $38...

They also had some of the limited Switch (1) Pro controllers up, Zelda and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. I had wanted that Xenoblade 2 one since it released and sold out so I bit.
