Bullet hell shooter Ikaruga is free on XBL from Argentina for some reason. You can use your regular XBL account

i played this on GameCube and it kicked my ass. i probably lasted maybe a half hour. very pretty but also pretty hard and frustrating game. i am sure it gets easier, but when i can't finish the first level, what chance would i have with the rest.

It's been free a bunch of times in the past decade or so (though I've never bothered to create an Argentina account to get it since I already own it). I have no idea why it keeps being free there though.

you shouldn’t need to create another account. Just use the one you normally use and it should redeem just fine.
And yeah… I think it’s been permanently free in that region.

I can't believe I actually got this for free from Argentina. never thought I could pull it off, but the links helped. thanks Decker. at first i kept getting installation errors over and over, but i looked at XBOX and sure enough it downloaded. I'll give it another go.

Super Mario RPG Switch Remake is $31.99 with coupon code MARIO at Woot:

It's a region free version and not ESRB if you're particular about that.

Cool. At that price, I'll put it under the tree for my kids for Christmas.

I totally forgot that thing existed. Damn you.

I definitely don't need that, but it looks pretty slick.

It's such a cool device. But TOTALLY unnecessary for most people.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

A tablet (if you have one) and controller work just fine for that purpose.

Or a phone if you can deal with smaller.
