Best Buy has a labor day sale going on.

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/promo/g...games-evn45623

Also, there are a bunch of AAA PS4 games not included in the sale, that with GCU, each being sold for $11.99.

Because of the Fallout New Vegas thread I got to thinking about KOTOR again and I looked and there is indeed invincibility mode (also in KOTOR 2) and was just telling my husband a few hours ago how I was going to bite for $10. Log in and it's $3.39 for KOTOR 1 and also $3.39 for KOTOR 2 on Steam!! Bought

I was going to get in on that deal but never had the $400 available. Lame.

Whether you played the classic PlayStation game or just want to try out a piece of puzzle-platformer history, Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee for PC is free today on GOG, Steam, and Humble Bundle. The game was the first in the Oddworld series, and introduced the character of Abe. It came out 20 years ago today.

I believe you now get a $1 discount when you request a store pickup for games at Best Buy.

Also, Best Buy has a video game sale: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/promo/g...games-evn49507

You have to choose shipping first and then they should offer $1 off if you switch to in store pick up. They've been doing it for a couple months with movies, but it's cool they offer it for games now. Works for amiibo too.

Batman: Return to Arkham on X1/PS4 is only $19.99 @ BestBuy, minus the usual extra dollar for pickup. This sucker took forever to get to $20, but I was patient.

Maybe too patient. It was $12 last week digitally on PSN.

LOL, indeed. Heck after the first one being in an asylum, I think I would have ran as far away as I could. No, instead he stuck around and kept making games. But yeah, the whole "Return" moniker is puzzling. Maybe we'll get the Lost Batman game where he travels to Bora Bora and wrestles a shark that looks like the Joker, I dunno.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I picked it up as well. But it does look like $20 is the new regular price now. I skipped it for $25 last Black Friday, but I can handle $15 after GCU and store pick up discounts.

Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition going for $29.99 / 23.99 at Best Buy, which is cheaper than the regular edition. Might be a price error. If it's a mistake, Best Buy will probably give you a gift card. No harm in trying. Other retailers are selling it at $49.99.

I bumped the RE7 thread when it was still alive. Like Decker said, it's dead now.

Now to see if they honor my $22.99 order.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I love this game, just wish I had more time to play it. $15.99 is a crazy deal for the X1 version (and the PS4 version has been on sale a bunch too)

Torment: Tides of Numenera $15.99 (X1 Version)

Uncharted Lost Legacy is $29.99 at Best Buy ($23.99 GCU). Totally worth it for that price. Easily on my top three games for the year.

Wolfenstein: The Two-Pack for PS4 is on sale at Amazon for $19.99. It's been on my watch list for a while since I've heard great things about it.

The $150 Mafia III Collector’s Edition is $29.00 on the 2K store. Both platforms.

I’ve never given this any thought before browsing this thread but Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are places and Arkham Knight is a character. The game’s setting is Gotham City proper so the title actually is appropriate.

Thanks. I got the xbox one (had to look at other sellers to find the amazon one for 19.99) and got an extra 10.00 off for “Alexa Discount”, but it might be because I used my Alexa to repurchase someting last week.
