I think most of the technical issues are fixed. I played it all the way through to the end. Glad I didn't pay full price but 10-20 dollars is a pretty good deal IMO.

I actually made money off the game (was on sale for $39 when it came out, and had a $10 gift card) when I traded it in for $40 with a bonus deal at GameStop.

Still not worth it. I think I played it twice. Just awful.

dropping like a rock. I haven't followed, what's the deal with 4? Series still Xbox exclusive?

Also Amazon has Ocarina of Time 3DS for $15, both cart and digital. I may grab the digital. My 3ds has been collecting dust for the better part of the year.

Man. I may have to buy it again at that price and return for my previous purchased copy.

Yeah, I am doing that. Will end up saving me $15 even though bought with that $25 visa checkout promo.

If you purchased it within the return and exchange period, you can just call them up and ask them to readjust the charge.

Deus Ex is on sale again, this time DOTD is $15 ($12 GCU). Can't believe how cheap this one has dropped to.

PC/Xbox One now. Steam in March.

A PS4 release is a possibility after a year, I think. The first two Dead Rising games (and, digitally, DR: Off the Record) are on the PS4 now, so that'd just leave part 3 M.I.A. on the PS4 unless something changes.

I've been debating whether to buy it. But I guess there's no point since it's in the EA Access Vault.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Yeah, if you have EA Access, then there is probably no point (unless you want to directly support sales of the game). But if you don't have EA Access, it's a great price for a fantastic game.

I know people hate Gamestop (and even worse right now because lines are ridiculous) but I did pick up yesterday the Gamestop exclusive disc versions for Prototype 1/2 (Xbox One) and Duke Nukem (Xbox One) for $19.99 and $14.99 respectively brand new and shrinkwrapped.

Was made even easier with a $25 gc from my sister in law and her...I'm not sure what he is but they have a kid together and he's a nice guy :), lol. (and baby daddy is usually reserved for aholes which he is not).

Boyfriend? Beau? Common-law husband?

Boyfriend, nah more than that.
Beau, at least by the classical definition, more than that too.
Common-law husband, that would imply they are living together rather than spending an inordinate amount of time together. He has his house, she lives with her parents. ....like I said, I have no idea what's that called.

OK, yeah, that's pretty unusual. They have a kid together, and he has his own house, but they don't live together.... I'd say they were having relationship problems if you didn't otherwise seem to indicate they're happy.

Personally, for people I don't know that well (such as online), I'd probably just opt for "boyfriend," since that gives the gist, if not the nuance.

It was a store purchase, so I would have had to go in. And I'm pretty sure they don't price adjust anymore. Regardless, I bought it cheaper and returned the cheap copy for the one I paid more for. Took 2 trips, but my local BB is never busy, so it was about 5 mins of my time to save $15.

Are you talking about that specific store? Because according to their policy...

If we lower our in-store or online price during the return and exchange period, we will match our lower price, upon request.

I only bought a handful of games at launch this year, but the two I bought for XB1 (GoW4 & FH3) have dropped in price like a fucking rock only a couple months after coming out. I guess the lesson is don't buy a Microsoft exclusive at launch.

Pretty much every major release goes on sale during the holidays it's not exclusive to Microsoft and it happens every year.

And that's as cheap as Quantum Break has ever been. It's the exception to the Microsoft exclusive game price drop rule.
