I can't recall the last game that I got the $10 bonus for. That's a far cry from a year or so ago when it seemed there was one every few weeks.

Yea...I think the days of seeing common $10 Gift Bonus from BB are over or at least like you said about one every few weeks

With the 20% off on all new games, I don't know why they bother giving the $10 on any title now.

I think they've done a pretty good job so far this year. Overwatch & Doom and still adding the major releases for later this year, and I imagine they will only add more over time to try and stay competitive with Amazon.

For me it is deciding whether it is more convenient and a better deal to just have Amazon ship me a game for 48 bucks or go to Best Buy and pay 52 and change and get a 10 dollar certificate a few weeks later. I kind of enjoyed paying a bit less and having Amazon ship me Dark Souls 3 and Uncharted 4.

Is there a reason you can't order games from Best Buy? Shipping is free and I always get pre-orders delivered on release day.

Yes, I can but I have never had a game or movie arrive on release day. They always come at least a day later

We pay sales tax on Amazon in NV. That makes Best Buy the more attractive preorder option even without $10 Reward Certificates due to the ability to return a poorly received game and sometimes getting physical bonuses with preorders (you're lucky to even get digital content at Amazon).

I'll mention this here because I guess it's a bargain. GOG now has a way to sync your Steam account with your GOG account. It only works for about 20 games now, but many more coming supposedly, but if you own the game on Steam you get a DRM-free copy at GOG for free.

Note that your Steam game library has to be public in your Steam profile in order for GOG Connect to sync.

Note the second: Once connected, you only have a few days to claim the titles it has identified.

Hopefully there will be notices in the future as new titles are added/purchased/found so those windows don't expire.

It found one game for me this time, but who knows how many of those ~20 games I have in unredeemed bundles. Edit to add: Checked my Humble library and added a couple more freebies.

When the email came out, the BF exclusion wasn't there. It's still possible that there are other changes coming.
