Just tried this and it scanned at $15.

But I did pick DragonballZ Kinect for $5 and Assassins Creed Revelation for $8 after the coupons in this month's issue.

Ack, Prototype 2 must have been an one-day sale or something then (or one-day misprice). Glad I went yesterday, because I was pretty close not to.

I grabbed Prototype 2 for $5 and Darksiders II for $15. Not bad.

Here's a 14 day xbox live gold trial for anyone who wants it. It appears to be for those without a gold account as it will not add the 14 days to my current account.

At that price, I couldn't hold back either - despite the fact that I'm also about to launch into Bioshock: Infinite. I guess that's what spring break next week will be for.

3 game backlog is nothing. I've probably got at least 50 sealed games in my backlog. Yeah, I'll probably never get to most of them, but I haven't paid more than 20 for hardly any of them (and usually closer to 10). With word that the multiplayer in this one sucks, no reason to jump into it now, at least not for me.

I may be closer to 100, not necessarily sealed since I often buy them used, but at least unplayed.

The hoarder in me is beginning to get to a place where I can let some of them go, so a fire sale may come to the exchange forum soon.

Well let me know if you decide to get rid of Catherine or Lollipop Chainsaw cheaply. I have been kind of keeping an eye out for those games on the cheap due to being semi-curious.

As for backlogs, I have pared mine way down. I have a handful from this gen I barely played (LA Noire being the main one) that I paid full price. A shame really.

As the life cycle slowed down I stopped buying things I knew I wouldn't spend adequate time playing. Anymore I simply pop in BlOps 2 or Halo 4 for multiplayer and call it a day.

Don't even get me started on the number of XBLA games I bought and barely played.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I caved on Tomb Raider as well. I've been dying to play this game, and I figure a price drop would be maybe 12 bucks' difference. Call it my impatience tax.

I have unopened copies of Far Cry 3, Metal Gear Rising, and Lego Lord of the Rings plus Bioshock arrived this morning. Definitely weak.

Don't lie. Even new copies were not sealed, just tied up with some old string.

I actually just saw that on Facebook like 2 minutes ago and ordered a copy.

Super stoked to give the game a shot!

Crap, I missed it. I wanted to grab Catherine at that price. I still suspect it will eventually be a Playstation Plus freebie, so I'm reluctant to spend any more than $10 on it.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Has an Atlus game ever been a PS+ Freebie?

Fun game regardless, picked it up for about $10 from Gamefly ages ago.

Same here. Unlike most of the games in my backlog, I WILL get around to playing this one at some point. Planning to get the PS3 D.C. version also.
